Seifer is a young male of eighteen years old, sporting a thin black jacket that has a belt clasp type collar, a white dress shirt under it, with black slacks and a pair of black boots. As a person, Seifer is usually pretty quiet, tending to stay to himself. However he's not one to just ignore others. He has a big heart, and it's usually "worn on his sleeve", and will gladly go out of his way to help someone else if they really needed him. He speaks with a neutral accent, not favoring any one country or dialect. He is very independent, though won't hesitate to rely on others for support.

Season 2
Growing up in a broken home, Seifer had no friends and his father was always to busy with work to play with him, or help him with homework. Suffice to say this damaged his social skills, and made him rather ignorant to how other people would treat him in reality. Throughout his school life he was taken advantage of and picked on, but somehow made it through all of that, and by some miracle, made his way to the clutches of Vanguard. To be honest he doesn't remember how or when he started, just that he saw the game and decided to try it out for himself, falling in love with it. Now of age, he's off on his own, slowly growing up out of the pains of anti-socialism, he tries to travel around when he can, meet people, and learn to love the game along side those he meets.

After coming to the world of Vanguard in this place, Seifer has met up with a few people who he befriended though rather slowly at first, and even went on to join the World Stage Tournament in New York City. Unfortunately he lost out in the second round of the tournament to Tsubasa, one of the people he felt closest to, and grew envious of his connection to the Gold Paladin clan where his was lacking with Great Nature. Lost and confused, Seifer wandered the streets of New York for a couple of days before his friends Haruki, Neo, and  Tsubasa confronted him, revealing the secrets of the sealed clans, and that he was probably a victim of it. Originally vindictive, when Seifer met Neu, he challenged her to a Cardfight, in which she allowed him to borrow a deck. The clan was Kagero, and it became readily obvious that was his original clan when he played it with ease, even managing to defeat Neu. Toward the end of the War of Liberation however, Seifer's role was diminished greatly, and while he was one of the five champions selected to fight Neu in one last battle to unseal the clans, he couldn't manage to press forward being the first champion to be banished from the space in which the clans were held. However, Neu had asked him about his "Vanguard" before he disappeared, answering with at first if he hadn't met everyone even her, he wouldn't of been able to answer this question. "I fight to protect my friends, allies... Those things that are precious to me." his answer was selfish indeed, but it was that drive that had him fight to help the clans, and Neu, in the first place. At the end of it though, after Tsubasa came back, being the victor in this struggle, Seifer congratulated the Gold Paladin player and worried as Neu was taken away by ambulance. Kagero was now back in his possession however, so he wasn't as anxious as normal.

Season 3
After parting ways with everyone after the concert, Seifer returned home to his father, begging and pleading for him to not take away the game as his father had found out about the incident that occurred in New York. With the loss of his returned Kagero, yet again, Seifer ran away from home and wandered around trying to make somewhat of a living. After a few months, a new deck was given to him, Shadow Paladin. While it was something new to him he accepted it almost immediately and began playing the clan regularly. It fit his new attitude with how his father had treated him as well. After a full year had passed after the incident in New York, Seifer once again returned to the place where he had met his friends and this time, he wasn't alone.

It had been somewhat of a rough start when he and Rosalia first moved to Rijuku, but they quickly settled in, getting the house Seifer had bought set up. Early on in the settling process, Seifer invited Tsubasa and Neo over to meet Rosalia, and to just hang out with his friends again, happily having a cardfight against Tsubasa using his new Shadow Paladin deck. Throughout the time between then and the start of school, Seifer's re met several of his old friends, and some new ones as well, even reuniting with his half Sister Noel.

Good times wouldn't last for very long though as school started back, draining a lot of the time he had to mill around. Though he couldn't really complain, since it was a change of pace. Thankfully he went to school with most of his friends so it wasn't that big of a deal anyways. Hana decided to create a Cardfight Club which increased the draw to go to school, and it was a bonus that he could spend time with everyone. It wasn't long though until something rather unexpected happened to Seifer. Something he never thought would happen. One night after school and a few awkward days with her, Seifer and Rosalia started dating... Though it was a bit different at first, the brunette was quickly warmed up to the idea, having never been as happy as he was with her. Though, this played into the hands of a request from a mysterious woman who called herself Yugure, but he knew her as Yukino. She made a rather odd request, because of his status as a champion a year ago, she wanted his help in saving the world, so it seemed. Seifer hesitantly agreed, if only to protect his new found love in Rosalia. Soon after that though the Cardfight Club went on a camping trip, though he couldn't spend any of it with Rosalia, as she had to return to her parent's house due to an emergency.

After all of this occurred, there was an incident with Satoshi in Hawaii, and... Seifer remembers nothing past going to Hawaii. Yukino and Satoshi fought, she won and then... Seifer's memory is blank? What happened? Trying to find answers, the brunette feels like he lost something important. Something precious he can't get back. All the while there are new invaders outside of Link Joker... From different dimensions. Ones that have the ability to stride. Seifer and the other members of the resistance lost to the overwhelming power of the demi god like intruders... Retreating with an unconscious Yukino, Seifer begins to over stress everything, and wonders if he can even do anything protect anyone.

After the events following Seifer's coma and the Invasion, the previously brunette has become even more withdrawn. While he still smiles at those who are his friends, there's a sadness there behind his eyes. While he genuinely enjoys everyone's company, he's started going off on his own. He has adopted a new attire as well. A sleeveless black top that doubles as a sleeveless jacket, black pants, boots a scarf and a piece of cloth that is tied to his left upper arm and that extends below his wrist. He also sometimes wears a pair of black fingerless gloves, but both those and the cloth are rarely seen. Seifer rarely shares his thoughts anymore, seeming to be more of a recluse when he gets the chance, though if someone wants to spend time with him he doesn't object.

Toward the end of the Link Joker's invasion, Seifer was subjected to Sera's influence. Having lost the ability to control Kagero anymore, Link Joker emerging from his soul in it's place. With this power, Seifer chased after Sera to take him down. Having not taken the time to adjust to this new power, Seifer strained his body to the breaking point, suffering on the inside. He was tearing his body apart. During the fight with Sera, it was revealed that Seifer wasn't even actually a part of this current timeline, but instead a part of Haruka's original timeline. He'd come here to settle a score with Sera, but during the course of the fight... Through an understanding, forgave Sera after defeating him. Succumbing to fatigue, Seifer lost consciousness waking up only after Haruka and Yukino had fought. However, this wasn't over. Even after defeating Sera, it wasn't over. He knew it. Chasing after Sera, he happened upon a field in which there were others gathered, and a figure that was wandering around. The energy, the culmination of all of it was radiating from him.

Weakened, exhausted... Seifer challenged the figure to a fight. It came down to Link Joker against Link Joker. An odd fight, and one that did not end well for the, at the time, brunette. The most powerful despair imaginable: World End. Seifer was the first to fall to it, and in doing so, the units who had chosen to side with him were locked away. This coupled with his weakened state pushed him into a coma that lasted for three months. While it seemed like an instant to him, it was quite a different story for those around him. Unaware of everything that was occurring outside of his hospital room, the male stayed locked away from the world. Friends of his fought even after his fall. Tsubasa, one of his closest friends, died to prevent anything else from occurring. Then the events with the remaining Seeds, and Queen Yukino specifically.

Three months later, Seifer awoke. Disoriented and confused, he fought against the doctors before being sedated. It was risky to do so, but it was the only choice. Later that day, waking once more Seifer was composed enough to get details from the doctors who notified next of kin, and those who were his closest family. Despite everything however, bad news came to Seifer in threes. His mother was unable to be contacted, his father had disowned him, and one of his best friends had died. Thankfully there were people there for him, so he didn't crumble away completely. Sometime after, whether through Yukino's connections, or something else... The now blonde haired man was adopted into the Espoir family. He was grateful, appreciating it all, and took the time to adjust to his new life. However, even in this new time... The memories of those he lost... His best friend, and the woman he loved... Rosalia. The memories and regrets haunted him.
