A bead of sweat dropped from the back of the boy's head for a moment. Was she trying to be intimidating or just difficult? At least his suspicion was confirmed. She wasn't going to stop until he did something about it.

He stepped forward, noticing that none of what was happening was creating debris that would stop him at all. That was a good things, fortunate unless its what she wanted. He prepared his deck as his next words were simple to her. "My name is Raiden Mujo. If you aren't going to stop, then I'll stop you myself."

Raiden usually had the ability to gauge the feelings and emotions of someone through a cardfight. He was hoping this would be a way for him to understand this person. She was definitely strange as well as irregular. And this was the first person he met coming into town. Not a good sign of things to come.

Blue Storm vs Liberators.

Cyan started revealing her powers that could transcend reality beyond Stride itself. While Aqua Force didn't seem to be cooperating, her abilities endlessly manipulated the deck in order to survive and strike. Raiden managed a hefty lead with massive rearguard assaults, while she was stuck getting every Perfect Guard and Grade Three in her deck. Even so, she simply couldn't let him win. To win against her meant absolute suffering.

Because they either take her Seed or murder her.

Even if Cyan was struggling...

Even if it was obvious she didn't want to hurt anyone, as Raiden perceived...

The Aqua Force wielder, drowning in black oceans of despair couldn't let anyone else suffer because of her.

This whole massive amount of destruction was to gain attention, yet, she didn't directly harm a soul. The girl stated it was to save a world. Her actions were to save the world, and she threatened to kill everyone to siphon their lives for her own timeline. However, that was simply a hollow threat.

She wanted to die to save this world, because her existence is part of what made its fate worse.

"S-Sorry... and thank y-you..."

Cyan wanted to cry, knowing Raiden threw the game when a Quintet Wall and a Trigger shield dropped after Maelstrom Reverse's last attack. He could've guarded, but he didn't let her throw her burden on him. Not because he didn't want it, but because he didn't seem to want Cyan to feel any worse.

Admiral Maelstrom followed through with her wishes, blasting Garmore into the terrain of Cray. On Earth, the blue dragon fired away at building he could see were entirely evacuated. It let loose a roar, causing quakes in the area to assist in getting attention drawn to them. While it was proud and menacing, it doubled as a wail of agony.

The moment she heard about the appearance of Admiral Maelstrom, Fubuki headed to Gotem City as quickly as she possibly could. Admiral Maelstrom meant Jelly. Fubuki still had to try and convince Cyan there was something else that could be done. Some other way to save her world. By the time she arrived, someone else had already attempted to stop her... Not good. The city was being destroyed, but no one seemed hurt.

"Jelly!!! Stop it!! You don't have to keep going!" Fubuki shouted up at Cyan, pulling her deck out. Hopefully, if it came to a fight, she'd be able to Stride. Even just once. That way she could show Jelly there was another way this could end.

Raiden had the match within his control, more so than he ever should have been able to. She was powerful, but unwilling. Her heart wasn't connected to the desire to destroy him that was within her deck and it created a clash. In short, she was holding back, even if it was subconsciously. Raiden saw this and was going to use it as his means to end the battle in his favor. That was what he had planned to do...

She's in pain... Raiden's mind realized as the battle raged on. She doesn't want to do any of this... she has to. I'll do it instead... That was his mindset, if he could take that burden away from her than he would be the one to bare it instead. She didn't agree with that ideal at all and it caused her deck to begin to respond as she fought harder.

In the end his hand had 2 cards, a critical trigger and a Quintet Wall. He even had a counterblast to use the Quintet Wall. He was certain his top 5 units would protect him. She had been manipulating her deck with her own strength all of this time, but she was out of heal triggers. If he guarded, he could end the battle. He closed his eyes at the thought of it. He saw her shed a tear, not for herself but for him. He couldn't put her through that.

He didn't guard, taking the full force of the black ocean. It sent him to the ground and his cards in hand dropped, showing what he could have done. It wasn't a secret. Raiden lifted his head, looking at her. "You... want to die... I'm not the one... to do it..." he said simply. Even from just meeting her, he didn't want to be her reaper. The idea of doing that with the cardgame he loved was almost impossible for him. The only other option was to take on her burden, whatever it was... He knew she didn't want that. All he could do was let himself be defeated.

That was when he heard another girl coming forward. He wasn't anywhere near passing out, even with the force he was hit with. He watched what happened next, hoping that the girl of the Blue Storms would be stopped now. If not, he would be willing to fight again.

From nearby, a figure watched the battles quietly, hands tucked neatly away in the pockets of it's pants. The outcome of the first fight was intriguing, and the outcome of the second was something the figure was looking forward to. Stepping out of the shadows to move a little closer, Seyer continued to watch, eyes half shut. At his side, the Ezel of his timeline watched as well. Both looked exceptionally tired. Quietly however they watched the battle from the side lines, only to watch the other Seed fall. It was a fitting match, and one that was amazing in all regards. However, the darker side of this... Seyer wasn't about to just let it happen. The people of this timeline, they didn't deserve to experience what they had. When did he start thinking like this? Well, maybe Tsubasa had something to do with it. When the match was over, and not in the other time traveler's favor, Seyer quickly rushed forward, one of Ezel's swords appearing in his right hand. As much as he regretted doing this, he knew it had to be done. There would probably be a moment where time stood still as the brunette would seemingly appear out of nowhere in front of Cyan, his eyes apologizing, before running the blade through her chest... Piercing her heart. He however, made sure to place a hand on her shoulder and hold her up right. Maybe... Some form of comfort in the end.

Post by Best Girl Sun Nov 22, 2015 3:12 am

"S-Sorry... I'm sorry... it has to be this way..."

Hopefully what would be the final game of Cyan's life. The requiem Cyan sang that Fubuki answered. The same other Aqua Force girl that she first met at Event Horizon. This fighter that seemed to be of little experience still rose to the challenge after Raiden, coming to find another way to end this sad story. The sad story of a girl who lost everything, and the only solution was to inflict suffering equal to that which she and all her people felt. And yet, it kept coming back to one simple fact. This child never wanted to harm a soul, not even those who ruined the world in the first place. ... There was no turning back from now, and suffering for a world would end today.

... With the end of a Seed.

The Blue Storms marched without hesitation or remorse, dark gazes of resolution driving them on, riding on the faith of a world's brighter future - one they were never meant to steal away in the name of "justice". Marios, a young cadet who adored the new Admiral of the Blue Storm armada, had potential beyond even the greatest of lance corporals. Even so, the boy stood with his vanguard in a waltz to death and destruction, against Bubble Edge Dracokid.

Fubuki wanted there to be another way, and yet, Cyan telling the truth made it clear there was nothing to be done. She is a "Seed", a product of the Clown's after defeating the Glendios or true Seed of that timeline. The victor becomes infected, and holds the rebirth of Link Joker within them unintentionally. And these unfortunate beings came to this world with the assistance of the mysterious Gear Dragon. Naturally, meddling with time and space began causing distortions, which resulted in people disappearing. ... It'll only get worse, and that is why this has to end with Cyan's defeat, and all of the others soon after. Cyan wouldn't let herself keel over in an easy defeat, however. Fubuki seemed to have detected this, flying at "Jelly" with all her might by her second turn.

"J-... Jelly..."

Now she was sure of it. She liked that nickname.

The Blue Storms countered, putting in Spyros as proof of this being a fight of the Blue Storms. They fought back by assaulting Aqua Force's weakness: rearguard bullying. Cyan knew exactly how Tetra Drive's deck played, as it was her own original deck. With this intelligence, she smashed down on the Twin Strike Brave Shooters, hindering Fubuki. Transcore Dragon attempted to retaliate, and Maelstorm howled back in agonized dominance. He was the Admiral of this generation of Aqua Force. The Maelstrom of this timeline was merely the Vice Admiral. Likely due to respects for the commanders of past, but this one assumed arms because duty was more important than waiting on an eon-old marine general to revive. Blue Storm Master Dragon, Admiral Maelstrom transcended reality, blowing apart everything in its wake, even if the other Blue Storm units couldn't hit. A Triple Drive and a retire, along with a draw only furthered Cyan's nigh-unshakable advantage. With the potential no other child could have been born with, and none left in her own timeline in the line before her, Cyan Umi was the final master of Aqua Force, and this was proof, unlike the previous game.

Fubuki still desperately wanted to help her, regardless. ... The thought of that pleased Cyan like no other. Jelly was glad to be jealous. Jealous of a world with people who didn't believe things had to have tragic end results, a firm belief - nay - defiance of the logical. To hold hope in heart without even thinking about it being impossible... This woman still couldn't believe in such a fairy tale, when the "impossible" is partially her own fault. And "impossible" is why she cannot ever go any further.

Maelstrom's ultimate form... an Ultimate Break that proved "the wind is unstoppable"... the access to ever being able to evolve into such was stripped away. That didn't stop Cyan, but it gripped onto her heart like a leech. A leech that sucked the hopes and dreams out of her golden heart.

Such beautiful karma born of a righteous maiden who could never harm an innocent soul in her life was freed from one of many curses: Maelstrom Reverse did not appear. The mark of despair left behind was erased by the shining light of this world's faith. ... And all Cyan could do is apologize and thank the girl in front of her. The sight of Tetra Drive Dragon was surprising, yet, did not take away this light feeling. Almost... as if Cyan was floating, and her heart was unshackled. Putting up a fight with this emotion, Tetra-Transcore's combo was halted with two Perfect Guards, just like before.

There was little left Cyan could do with no hand, and only Spyros with Hermes for a rearguard column. Maelstrom charged against his comrade, and his roar summoned a Critical Trigger.

Please... Don't come to me.

The girl prayed not for a miracle, but for an acceptance for this world's - Fubuki's succeed.

She didn't want the snow girl to bare the burden of absorbing a Seed or what would have to come afterward if otherwise, and yet... trust? Trust was formed toward this opponent.

Trust, joy, happiness, the feeling of floating, Reverse's grip being broken...

Maelstrom Reverse was the second check, unable to break through the shields.

This "despair" accepted karma.

The last turn played by Cyan Umi was over.

For an instant, the girl thought she saw a sort of black tie with an anchor mark on it. That... was odd. Her previous appearance and attire... had a tie like that... No, that was her tie. In a dream, she was her old self. The person she was fighting was Jellal. A smile came from the original Aqua Force master, and a motion to come toward him. Yet... it was his- Fubuki's turn? Cyan is... coming. Walking... toward him in the space of her mind as whiteness overtook the blank world behind the blond fighter. Fubuki's voice rang, declaring proof of this timeline's future.

Blue Wave Marshal Dragon, Tetra-boil dragon.

"Hello old friend", Cyan and Maelstrom spoke simultaneously. "And... goodbye."

"Aqua Force has a lot of brats coming up this time around. Watch over them. ... I'm counting on you."

The Blue Storms screamed proudly. Finally having reached Heaven's door. Tetra Boil had the fleet at his back charge forth... and Cyan only saw friends and family from her own time. All alive and calling for her. Many shapeless beings appeared, trying to block off the path as the girl ran toward them. These were the Blue Storm shields stopping Fubuki in reality. Even Tetra-boil - Fubuki's awakened transcendence, couldn't reach initially. Cyan couldn't reach Jellal at first.

"Cyan..." Jellal called. "I'm proud of you. Let's get some rest."

Tears streamed down Cyan's cheeks.

She didn't want it to end like this - with a white world. At the same time, it was all she could do so Fubuki's own world wouldn't be the same.

"I'm... so tired..."

Tetra-boil restood with its own skill. And Cyan had nothing left.

"So... so tired..."

The Marshal Dragon assaulted the defenseless Blue Storm Master Dragon, and he did not wail. He did not roar. He was silent. Reaching out to pat Tetra-boil on the back, the G Unit of Aqua Force's lost future vanished into the depths of the sea in light.

Maelstrom Reverse was Cyan's final damage as a content smile broke through the falling tears.

Soldiers of the resistance, the police, anybody who knew could put the poor child to rest before Fubuki could take on a plague of a burden. The Seed that was beginning to surround the pale ghost girl in an aura of void, ready to transfer over to the clearly superior fighter. ... And in an instant, Cyan's eyes widened as Seyer, one of the other Seeds, stabbed her with one of the Incandescent Lion's blades.

Cyan was hugged by Jellal, her mother, her father, and the angels of the pearly gates.

"Thank you..." She whispered to Seyer and Fubuki, slowly closing her eyes... The Seed within withered and died...

Raiden watched the sight before him. What began as a cardfight ended in an assassination. He had to close his eyes for a moment at the end. Something about this wasn't right. What could have happened to her to have deserved this fate? He really didn't understand at all. All he knew was that she was dead now, gone forever, and that this was what it meant to deal with whatever this was. Raiden had come here for answers and now he had a big one. What a price to pay for such a thing...

Raiden turned, standing up a he didn't know these people well enough to stay and ask the questions that probably needed to be answered. There was some kind of war being fought here, and if he stuck around within the city, he'd be caught up in it again. That was what he wanted. He wanted to know more, but he had already seen too much now. He needed some time to process it all. He walked away from the area, the situation. He knew that Cyan deserved to be saved, and in a way she probably was... For it to come to that means that there was more to this town than he thought... and he wanted to know what it was.

Field: Gotem City - Page 4 Empty Re: Field: Gotem City

Post by Lightning King Sun Nov 22, 2015 4:06 am

"Jelly...  Please...  Don't do this..."  Fubuki had to now fight a battle against a true hero.

Fubuki had only one fight to prove herself.  One fight to show there was another way.  Cyan was the second person Fubuki met in this town.  Perhaps she wasn't a master at Vanguard.  Maybe she didn't go through what Cyan had.  Even still, Fubuki wouldn't go down without a fight.  She had to save Cyan, no matter what.  There was no way Fubuki could let this end any other way.  No one had to suffer, not now, and not ever again.

The corps under Tetra-Drive's command marched towards the Blue Storms, prepared to save them from their fate, no matter the cost.  No more would they have to take away for some false justice, false hope...  Bubble Edge Dracokid stood face to face with Marios.  If Fubuki had her way, this would be the last time they saw each other as enemies.

The battle began.  Fubuki desperately tried to convince Cyan that it didn't have to be this way.  She refused to accept the truth, and pushed to find some other answer.  Cyan believed this was her fault...  That everything the other Seeds had done was to be put on her shoulders as well.  Even if Cyan was a Seed, Fubuki believed there had to be a way.  Some way for her to have a happy ending without succumbing to Fate.  Fubuki, in search of an answer, struck Jelly with everything she could right off the bat.  If Fubuki held back an inch, this would all be over.

However, Jelly struck back, wiping out Fubuki's rear-guards...  She knew what Fubuki needed and had to deny her deck its rear-guards.  Fubuki attempted to retaliate with Transcore, but it wasn't enough.  Unable to reach Cyan, Fubuki was left at the mercy of Admiral Maelstrom, and had most of her field wiped away again while Cyan only gained more advantage.  Truly, Cyan had perfected her Aqua Force.

Even so, Fubuki refused to let things end with this fate.  It didn't matter what the future held, what happened in the past, nor the problems in the present.  All that mattered right now was Jelly.  There had to be some way to save her.  There had to be.  The thought that it was impossible never even crossed Fubuki's mind as she pushed forwards, refusing to falter.  Feeling the breeze, Fubuki raised a card to the sky.  Her avatar.  Blue Wave Dragon, Tetra-Drive Dragon.  With Tetra-Drive in tandem with Transcore, Fubuki wiped away the advantage Cyan had gotten in a single turn.  However, the fight still wasn't over.  Cyan took one final turn.

Both players were left with almost nothing.  Cyan had only her Vanguard and a single rear-guard column.  Fubuki had no intercepts and only one shield left in her hand.  This was truly the final turn.  Maelstrom attacked.  Fubuki didn't guard...  She held her breath, preparing for the critical to come.  However, none came.  Even so, unless Fubuki pulled a trigger here...  It was all over.  Still holding her breath, she revealed her damage check.  A critical trigger.  She had survived.

At the end of their path...  Fubuki saw it.  The future.

The wind blew stronger than it had before.  With the future she saw, she called forth transcendence.
"Generation Zone, Release.  Blinding gale of snow and wind...  Let your power boil up and create a new storm!  Stride Generation!  Blue Wave Marshal Dragon, Tetra-Boil Dragon!  Are you ready...  Cyan!?"  For the first time, Fubuki called Jelly by her real name.  And with the power of this new transcendence, Fubuki was able to break through what little defenses Cyan had remaining, claiming victory.  Maelstrom accepted his defeated at the hands of Tetra-Drive...  As the final damage was revealed to be Maelstrom Reverse.

When she saw Cyan's smile, Fubuki began to run over to her...  To tell her everything was okay now, to make sure she wouldn't throw her life away...  But...  A man appeared.  Everything froze.  Cyan...  Was...  Dead...  "No...  NO, NO, NO!!!  THIS...  THIS ISN'T WHAT WAS...  W-WHAT...  THIS ISN'T...  R-RIGHT...  NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"  Fubuki screamed between tears as she ran towards Cyan.  Fubuki fell to her knees next to Cyan's body, not even looking at the man who killed her friend...  All she could see was Cyan's body in front of her.

Fubuki reached for the collar of Cyan's sweater, pulling it down.  Just once.  She wanted to see the full face she had never seen while Jelly had been alive.  Fubuki stared at the face, and realized...  Cyan had... died... smiling.  With what little strength she had left, Fubuki embraced the body of her fallen friend, whose face was now forever ingrained within her memory.  Her tears falling and soaking the blood-stained sweater.  Why?  Why was this the ending that had occurred?  Was there no way to avoid this suffering?  This tragedy?  Fubuki, despite transcending, despite reaching Cyan, had failed to save her...

Seyer saw it, saw her life through her eyes. Not literally, figuratively. He could see the person he just murdered was a good person. But he was used to taking people's lives. Why did this one cut so deep? Why did taking this girl's life affect him? As she fell back, his blade removing itself from her heart and dissipating, he caught Cyan. Letting her body down gently, his eyes shut halfway, Ezel walking over to his side. There was a quiet understanding between the two, and the expression on Seyer's face only grew more grim as the other girl came over, practically in tears. The brunette stood however, moving out of the way. "I don't expect you to forgive me. ...And she certainly has every right to hate me in the afterlife. Wherever she's going... ...But you just might see her again someday." the man himself didn't believe it but, they were words he felt he needed to say. Maybe there'd be some comfort. Taking a few steps away, he placed his left hand into his pocket. He opted to keep the other one out however, as it was covered in blood. Blood stained the white of the fur on his jacket as well. Blood of an innocent girl. ...Sighing the male shook his head. "She didn't deserve this, and yet this is the fate that lies at the end of the road for all of us. All of the other Seeds." lightly the male removed his hand from his pocket placing his hand on top of Fubuki's head for just a moment before lifting the lifeless body of Cyan up and against his own chest. "She seemed to be your friend, so I'll bring you back whatever's left after she disappears. ...I'm sorry." with that, the male walked off, carrying the body. He had somewhere he needed to go now. Whether it was a good idea or not, well... That depended on whether or not she was like she was in his timeline before she died.

The man... Was... Taking her away. Why? Why was this happening? What did he mean before she disappears? Fubuki clutched on to Cyan's sweater as long as she could, not responding to anything this stranger did... However, he took Cyan away... Fubuki didn't have the energy to chase after. All she could do was curl up, and cry in defeat.

Yugure Espoir entered Gotem City, the area of Seed battles this past month or so. Hearing about Admiral Maelstrom's destruction, she came to check in on the situation, the sweater of the Aqua Force Seed still being carried on her shoulder. "Report. How bad are damage? Civilian casualties?" She spoke, surprising the soldiers and the like of the Resistance nearby. They mentioned that they thought she was relaxing with them moving out of HQ. R&R isn't her forte, unfortunately.

"Structure-wise, it isn't really that bad. Well, it's bad for the places that got hit, but overall it could've been much, much worse. As for the populace, no one got hurt actually."

"Nobody? How is that possible?"

"A couple of witnesses said it looked like Maelstrom was hitting places where nobody was left. He specifically targeted buildings post-evacuation. Same with streets, and missed every helicopter and plane in the sky."

Christ, precision and foresight like that really was something only the Admiral would be capable of. Nodding them off with a "good work", some of them began to disperse. "Oh wait", the woman called out. "Is there a girl that used Tetra-Drive Dragon any of you know of?"

"Actually... yeah. I think she was here that day actually. Might still be around. Looked pretty messed up."

"Alright, thank you. Dismissed."

Where is this girl and what even is her name?

Fubuki had spent the entire time since Cyan's death in Gotem City, aimlessly wandering, paying no attention to her surroundings. Her despair was at an all-time high, her mind unable to focus or even comprehend anything. Until she saw that woman. The leader of the resistance. The woman who ordered the death of the Seeds. The death of Cyan. Worst of all... She had Cyan's sweater. Was it some sick trophy kept to remind her of the kill?

Fubuki walked with murderous intent towards Yugure. This woman wouldn't escape unharmed for what she did to Jelly. As she approached, Fubuki spoke out, "You... You! This is.. This is your fault..!"

Yugure turned to the sight of a clearly despair-riddled girl. She was a bit surprised with the violent gaze given. "My fault? Who are you?"

Actually, she looked familiar.

"Wait, Fubuki?"

Fubuki grabbed Yugure by the collar, the floodgate of tears opening.  "It's your fault..!  You're the one that made the order...  You got her killed, dammit!!  You ordered Jelly's death!"  The hatred Fubuki felt was pure, only amplified by what Yugure held.  "As if that wasn't enough...  You...  You have her sweater, you mentally sick bitch!!!"  Fubuki was burying herself into Yugure by this point, her right arm slamming weakly against Yugure's shoulder, the tears refusing to stop.

"I...  I won't forgive you..!  Not now, not ever!!  Jelly never wanted to hurt anyone, not a single soul, god dammit!!!  It didn't have to end this way!!!  I showed her that, but you!!!  Because of you and your self-centered order, the kindest, purest soul to ever exist...  Is dead!!!  I hope you die a horrible death, a-and..  And Haruka too!!!"

The soldier keeps letting her guard down, and because of it, Fubuki got a grasp of her white cape. She was screaming about the order and "Jelly". What order? Wait, her sweater? As in Cyan's? It took a moment for the commander to fully understand. They must've been friends or something, mingling with the enemy, and the order to eradicate Seeds resulted in the Aqua Force Seed's death... even though it wasn't done by any of the Resistance. Fubuki seemed to misunderstand why the sweater was here, and Yugure only let her get out what must've been pent up in response.

Fubuki wished a gruesome death upon the woman and her lover.

Yugure said nothing.

"... I was told to bring this sweater back to you."

Idiots keep befriending these parasites and getting attached to them. Those leeches of time have to die, and Yugure wasn't about to argue with someone who did get attached to one. The Chosen Sword kept a stoic expression while handing Fubuki the remains of Cyan.

Didn't want to hurt anyone, huh... Yugure thought. The truth was that, at the very least, Cyan attacked this city and didn't harm a single person. Maybe she did go fight Glendios too? The Glendios of a world she was already aiming to drain. ... Probably didn't matter now, but she did want to know more of what these people defended that parasite for.

Bring the sweater back? It... Wasn't a trophy? It didn't change much. Yugure was still at fault for Cyan's death, now she was just a bit less of a bitch. The tears still continued. "Why... Why did she have to die? She was... Too kind for her own good, she couldn't have drained the life from this world even though she wanted to, needed too!!! So tell me, why!? Why did she have to die!? She was a hero, dammit... She fought against Glendios, she slowed it down, she tried to save a world that wasn't her own... Even though she was jealous of us." Fubuki only cried harder at the memory of their first encounter. "There had to have... No, there was another way... I... I wanted to... To save her. She didn't deserve this fate, so why!? Why are you so god damn heartless!?"

... Maybe because being driven to near suicide and watching hopelessness for two years made Yugure jaded. Maybe that's because, even though she understood the joys of being human, she was still partially a sword without a heart. It sounded like, despite the reports of Cyan's goals, she choked out on being a villain. Not a parasite of her own accord. Assisting to defeat Glendios for a world that wasn't her own, then the act here in the city must've been for attention. As a Seed, her existence meant distortions in this timeline. ... Meaning the attention was likely to get someone to kill her.

A sad fate and a sad tale for a despair girl.

"Seeds existing cause distortions that rip apart our time. People disappeared because of these parasites coming here, and a Link Joker Seed must be destroyed to end this. ... And they cannot be destroyed with fights. Only... death."

Yugure responded harshly and coldly to the tearful Fubuki. There was no other way, even in the eyes of a soldier who planned to fight against eldritch gods. Her hatred toward Link Joker and anything related was more or less unforgivable. Even more so anything that lingered on to further ruin this timeline. While the story of Cyan Umi would have made her cry had she thought on it more, the Chosen Sword could only see it as a necessary death right now.

"I commend her for all she did."

Yugure only said that to help Fubuki feel better.

Yugure's attempts to make Fubuki feel better, or at least that's what they were interpreted as, were rather futile. It didn't matter the commendations Cyan received now, she was dead. No amount of praise would ever change that. Nothing could. Jelly was gone, for good. All because of this damnable woman. "Why... Why... I just want my friend... My... J-jelly..." Fubuki looked down at the sweater. "Where... Where's her body..? I-i... I want to... See my friend's body... She at least deserves... A... A proper f-f-fu... Fu..." Fubuki couldn't finish the sentence, succumbing to the choking tears.

A timeline that was doomed.

"N-no... B-but t-that... That... Please tell me you're lying..." Fubuki remembered what Jelly had described. Fubuki just couldn't accept what had happened. Why was this the ending that had to happen? Why? Nothing went right. Nothing. Fubuki took the sweater from Yugure, and took off the Reality Bangle, throwing it to the ground, running off. Couldn't she have just gotten a happy ending? Why can't the world just work that way?

Yugure closed her eyes. This only further proved Link Joker shouldn't exist, as this would have never happened if they hadn't showed up. This poor girl wouldn't be in tears over another poor girl that had to either bring an end to herself for being here or kill everyone here for her time, and the latter she couldn't do due to morals.

And this only proved there may not be a way out for Dalis either.

Happy endings aren't real. Miracles don't happen unless you make them happn, and all of them were used up stopping the Star-vaders. It'll probably be worse if the Reapers do show up.

Yugure picked up the Reality Bangle Fubuki left behind, and stowed it away in pocket. A deep, deep exhale came out of her mouth... If only these Reality Bangles could reject the despair of reality. Remaining quiet, the Chosen Sword left.

She had a prisoner to see.

Perfect, Harbinger mentally sneered.

The little cabbage and Fuki roamed Gotem City, armed with a massive platoon of the Star-vaders in decks. Their job was incredibly simple, and it was be seen. The duo were far apart from one another in the area, more than capable of handling their own.

Other drones approached from the sides and some wandering about as normal people in town.

The bloodbath was soon.

Trinity wandered the streets of Gotem City, mixing with the people that roamed the city but staying within sight of Harbinger, awaiting for her buxom Mistress' command. She could feel the pulsating energy of the seed within her, as if it could feel the tension within the city and excitement from what Harbinger plan to begin.

They arrived from the east side of the city, on foot. Haruka regained his strength as they left the base. They didn't take really anybody with them, considering Sera was a bit of a lone soldier in general but Haruka was the exception. The duo were taking it a bit slowly, travelling the streets pretty openly.

"Hey, you don't think they're at the shrine or something, right?"

"I have no idea. I just didn't wanna get caught out in an closed space. Plus, most Reaper attacks are in open areas.  You'd think they're in some open space too, right?"

Haruka nodded, somewhat agreeing. His stomach turned at the thought of finding Harbinger... her... again. What if she didn't remember him--

"So, the expression on your face tells me you know her. Wanna talk about it?"

"N-Not really."

Sera nodded, sighing as they trudged through the streets. It was eerily quiet, only a few people travelling the streets today. The lights from buildings were shining. If only they weren't on a manhunt.

Megumin wonders into the vast city; enthralled by the towering skyscrapers reaching out towards the sun. These modern architectures are not at all familiar to Megumin who originated from a village so in her very own eyes, these buildings rival royal castles in size. Dazzled with amazement, Megumin skips joyfully but carelessly bumps into a guy, with Megumin being deflected straight back.

"Ouch, Jeez look at the way when your walking!" Megumin sulked as she tried to stood up.
