Reaper Invasion - Lion's Roar

Well Bashiro was probably right, but it was worth the suggestion maybe? Bashiro and Big Bang had the best chances of one shotting it, but... Wait what? They had a way around delete now? When he saw the Brawlers unlocked... he was in awe, as was Dragruler Phantom. Did they actually have a chance now? "New plan then, I'll try to lure it in close! You be ready! Dragruler, let's go!" with that, the abyss dragon and brunette advanced toward the on coming threat.

"Hey, don't you dare look away!" Aedan called out, rapidly swinging Ezel's sword in a massive horizontal swipe as Kachidoki turned his attention toward stopping Shirayuki's attack. Ezel and Garmore however noticed the attack of the Shadow Clones, moving to intercept them before they reached Shirayuki.

Rosalia nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard her name, or more like who calls her "miss"? As she expected, however, it was someone needing help. She just never imagined Mitsuki to be the one asking for it! "It's amazing how everything can change in a split second, huh..." she mused, kneeling in front of the other female with a small smile on her lips. Despite everything that happened around her, all the destruction and chaos and pain, the pinkette was determined to fulfill her role as a medic with a grin. "You did great, Mitsuki~ Just rest up for a sec. I'll have ya on your feet in no time."

Just as promised, the newly appointed medic placed her hands lightly over the other's minor injuries, taking a deep breath. The light returned to her fingertips, filling the wounds with a warmth that spread throughout to heal every inch, even if they weren't fatal injuries. If Yukino wanted to get on her case about healing a lower ranked member, then so be it. Save that conversation for another day, because Rosalia wasn't the person to just ignore someone who walks up to her for assistance. Especially someone she sorta knew. Hey, maybe they could be friends when all of this havoc was over. "There~ All done. Take a moment to breathe before charging in again, even if you do use Spike Brothers~ I'm sure we'll get through this."

Actually the thought of the Deletor made the pinkette glance up at it. Everyone else's units were based more so as ground units... while her Angel Feather could fly to their hearts' content. Should she be helping with the battle?... No. She was a medic, and Yukino told her specifically not to do anything stupid. Or, well, her actual words were "reckless"... In this situation, it probably meant the same thing. Not to mention the fact that if the medic got injured, then who would act as healer? Rosalia gritted her teeth, even as Yukino declared their newfound ability of being able to pay the cost for Stride to undo Delete, with the bonus of unlocking a rearguard! It made her want to fight more, but she would hold true to her word...

Meanwhile, as Asmodel finished treating Okuri, she joined the search for those to treat at the front lines with Malchedael. Batrael and Hael remained in the rear to care for those who managed to fall back far enough from the fight.

Haruka watched his allies rise and fall as the forces slowly closed in on the flying monstrosity. Few and far between attacks were landing, showing the lack of success they were having in really dishing out any damage, rather more or less just annoying the damn thing. It wasn't having any of it.

After barrages from Mistuki's Spike Brothers and the Great Nature birbs---

Birds, from Okuri, the Reaper began to react violently. Not that it wasn't before, but... more violently. Haruka's forces applied more pressure as Haruka ran to the now befallen Okuri for aid.

"Where's a medic when---"

Mizumi was zipping down the road in Toshiki's clunker muscle car, hopping out with a first-aid kit. Not that she really intended to use it.

"I'll tend to the wounded or fallen, you go command the troops you idiot!"

Haruka blinked, almost vehement at Mizumi who was calling him an idiot for ditching the army to help a fallen friend. What's a man to do? Rose was also on the case so it meant that Mizumi wouldn't be the only medic on deck anyways.

He sent a salute to the medics on the field and went back to the assault.

Sera and Haruka both got the order from Yukino that apparently the ability to counter to delete was given to them by Chronojet. Must have been the reason he showed up in the first place then. Despite both having the information, neither actively forced a rush on their own. Sera's forces were heavily depleted for reasons unknown, other than giving suppressive locks against the bloody thing while Haruka's Aqua Force was finally deploying the aerial squadron, using 3-Dimensional Wave-Motion Gear; a form of water-jets that allowed flying from building to building and precision aerial gliding. They were looking for a tactical advantage point while Haruka kept a close eye on a vantage point. The second that a vital opened, or even a glimmer of a breadth of hope opened, he'd be the first on his heals to get into it.

It was a waiting game. People were impatient and starting to go in recklessly, despite seeing how massive that anti-aerial cannon tank of a monster was. Haruka wanted it dead, but he wasn't suicidal for it. Not yet, anyways.

Raiden began to slowly walk towards where the Chimera was. He heard the message through his modified Reality Bangle. "A way to remove delete. I understand," Raiden said. He didn't need much to see the picture in front of him. Chronojet Dragon was trying to give them the means to combat Deletion, and even with the short time he had, he delivered something. It seemed that Noel and Haruka's efforts weren't wasted as the Reapers wanted. He held up his deck, even grounded he had to fight the Chimera. Still, his body had only barely been put into a state where he could stand and walk. Fighting should have been out of the question, but here he was anyway.

Cero was just gone. Nowhere to be seen. It seems he had left immediately after his loss, never hearing anything about the finals. He hadn't heard any of what Chronos or Artorigus had said, and was unaware of the boon Chronojet had bestowed upon humanity.

Meanwhile, Fubuki had stayed. She was unhappy with the results, and absolutely terrified at what she had witnessed. For quite some time, she was simply stunned in fear. Unable to move. After a while, she managed to regain some semblance of composure and set off in search of Aoi. Trying to convince that girl to run would be a lost cause, but Fubuki wouldn't let her take that thing on alone no matter how futile it seemed to her. She ducked and weaved, desperately evading the coming barrage from the Reaper above.

She managed to reach where Aoi was, and noticed. . . . One of the men from the camping trip with her. Fubuki was starting to get a little worried. What could that man's relationship to her possibly be?

"Aoi!!! Are you alright!?" Fubuki said as she dived into cover near them. She had her reality bangle, and was prepared to fight. However, she wasn't sure she could do any damage, especially from this distance. Especially against Delete, a power that rendered the Breakride Fubuki desperately relied on completely worthless.

It wasn't long before Okuri attempted to stand up again, but before he could move all that much he felt a hand on his head. As his vision cleared again he saw what looked like an angel standing over him heal, telling him to take a bit before heading back into things. Realizing he was on his back he quickly stood up, slightly embarrassed at it having happened. He sat patiently while Asmodel finished tending to him and thanked her for the help.

Meanwhile new orders came in. Hikari informed them Chronojet had left them a counter measure to the deleting power that was so strong in these fights. "That would have been nice a few minutes ago..." he said slightly aggravated at the timing of things. Haruka had almost rushed to his side it seemed but a woman had called him off. Content that he was okay to be moving again a few of his units returned to his side. Amazing work that angel had done. He followed after Haruka. He wasn't entirely sure he was up for another fight but he'd do what he could to support the further offensive.

At Aoi's question Haruto was honestly somewhat stumped afterall given the situation it was obvious that hitting this thing was gonna be a challenge not to mention bringing it down to their level. What could he possibly say...

"...I would be lying if I told you I had an idea how to put that thing down but...we really have no other choice than just attacking, if we can weaken it enough it should stop being airborne and fall to our level where it's easier for us to strike." he said, as he ordered Percival and Aglovale to send several pillars of bluish flames at the creature's skull. "These may be small hits, but we'll have to follow a hit and hide tactic I guess.."

While the others continued their onslaughts Haruto simply helped his squad in anyway he could while attacking the creature. He had to get closer if he wanted to actually confront it.

"We're ready whenever you want us to be my Vangua-" Aglovale was interrupted by the appearance of Fubuki who had just made it to where the squad was.

"...Oh, Hello, sorry the reunion isn't under better circumstances." he said, to Fubuki while still keeping his focus on the Chimera.

The Revenger troop lead by Dragruler and Seifer fought bravely, foregoing the boon for a turn to build up some resources. It worked, and they managed to hold on, just long enough for the dread dragon to make an appearance, aiding the Revengers even further. In the end however, even with the damage they dealt to the monster it was no surprise that Dragruler and Seifer were knocked away from the fight... Dragruler changing back into Mordred... and Seifer falling to the ground, only barely being caught by Blaster Dark before colliding with the ground and becoming paste.

The brunette himself wasn't to injured, save for a gash into his shoulder and leg. He'd live, but for now he was using Blaster Dark as a crutch to walk. The person not the sword.

"I'm sorry that we couldn't..." Mordred started apologizing, Seifer raising his hand.

"Look man, we did our part... We can trust our friends with the rest. After this, let's just eat more ice cream."

Clumsy Celestial Batrael left Hael's side for a bit, making her way to where another girl, Mizumi, showed up to act as medic. The Angel Feather unit dressed in pink and white with long golden pigtails smiled at the human girl while lending a hand where one was needed. "It is a pleasure to meet you. I hope I don't get in the way~"

All the meanwhile, Malchedael and Asmodel remained at the front lines, assisting when needed. It was Malchedael, however, who saw Cipher fall, only to be caught by Blaster Dark before the brunette hit the ground. Leaving Asmodel at the front lines for now to help the others in battle, the violet-haired angel flew to her vanguard's side. Rosalia didn't have to ask, and followed Malchedael back towards Cipher's side.

"No need for both of us here. I'll return to the front with Asmodel," the angel spoke before taking off once more.

This left the pinkette with her fiancé and Blaster Dark, Rosalia smiling softly to see that her beloved wasn't in a thousand pieces. "Leave this to me~" She kissed Cipher on the cheek, then rest her hands over the wound in his shoulder. Immediately, the warming light filled the wound, healing it slowly before spreading to his leg injury. "Like my new trick?~" But even with a happy expression, being useful had its price. The female felt a bit tired, and probably looked it, yet there was no going back now. This is what she signed up for.

After perhaps the best off-screen battle that Carlos has ever had, the Venom Dancer Unit controlled by Koga managed to grab Recklessness Dragon and throw him along with his controller outside of the stadium. Shielded by his Thunder Dragon during the landing, the young man ended in a building near an unknown Reaper. He could pretty well imagine the smile drawn in the little girl's face after doing that. 
 
"Recklessness! Are you ok!?" He asked the bluish dragon, after getting up. After verifying that the Thunder Dragon had no serious injuries, both turned their attention to the flying Reaper. "Now they can fly!?". Checking his bangle, Carlos read the data gathered about the enemy. "Mixed Deletor... Keios? This things have names!?". Riding on top of his trusted dragon, the young Narukami user ignored all his doubts and charged towards the monster. "Let's go, my Units!" He shouted, joining the other fighters of the Resistance. "This creature looks less armored, so it will be easy to shot down" He thought, ignoring also the current state of those who tried to fight before him. "Oh boy, if my family could see me...".

Raiden battled against the Chimera. His Liberators battled the Deletors once again. This individual was... unique. He seemed very indecisive. Raiden even saw that his talking to himself caused him to forget to do certain skills. This was all the more beneficial to Raiden, though. His Vanguard was deleted while he was at Grade 2 but a Ride one turn later fixed that. He seemed unable to do it again after this, meaning Raiden could fight normally. He used his Liberator of Locus Asclepius. Its power broke into the defenses of the Deletor but did not finish the job. Meanwhile each damage Raiden took had its toll on his body. He could feel his wounds reopening. He would pass out from the pain if this didn't end quickly.

He used Autumn Rain Liberator, Coil as well as his Legion skill. Calling two units from the deck with added power. The rain of arrows were able to reach the flying Deletor and eventually they took him down. However, the toll of the battle was too much for Raiden. He fell to the ground, his body bleeding again as he was in danger of bleeding out like before.

Meanwhile, Darren battled the Star Vader, Halcion. His Metalborgs fought with all they had against the invaders. Darren hit hard and often while Trinity gathered Reverse units into her hand. Darren tried to convince Trinity that she was more than a weapon, that she shouldn't help Harbinger as the witch wanted nothing more than to destroy everything and everyone. Trinity was not listening. She claimed that the world was best destroyed, humanity didn't deserve to live. Darren couldn't believe that, and he knew she couldn't be reasoned with if she would say a thing like that.

"I will not allow you to drag down our world!!"

Darren called forth Valen Grader, using it to bring out Sin Buster. His Legion attack was blocked by a Perfect Guard. Halcion answered back by using her ability to Delete Sin Buster. Darren had to watch as Ashlei Reverse and Luquier Reversed were locked for that purpose. He did not guard the Vanguard but he took the rear attack. He answered again by riding into Metalborg Dryon. His Legion attack struck for 2 criticals. A single Critical Trigger would end the game. Halcion did not have guard. Darren's checks... saw no trigger.

Darren had to take another serving of punishment, Daishield protecting him from the Vanguard but not Reverse Daiyusha. Darren hated seeing fake versions of his friend stand against him. This had to end. Even as someone who was no loner human, he had to fight for them. He had to help the people who could not help themselves.

Darren rode Valen Grader once more. He used its skill to bring forth Sin Buster. With a string of power ups, Valen Grader, Uru Buster, Mist Ghost, Russell Blizzard, and a boost from Black Doctor, the power of Sin Buster came to 51000. Its ability also activated, locking all units Grade 1 and higher to the hand. Halcion was forced to guard for 1 trigger to pass. Darren drove check. The Critical Trigger appeared. The last blow was struck and Halcion fell.

"You're more than a sword, but until you see that, I'll strike you down!"

Shirayuki saw the attack and quickly created a clone to take the hit while xat cutted off Kachidoki' movement by throwng 2 daggers at his legs. SHe then looked at Aiden with a smile, "We might have to cardfight him." She said to him as she looked at the units to make sure Ezal, Shirayuki, and Garmor were safe.

Seizing Celestial Hael, since the other Angel Feather units were preoccupied across the battlefield,  spotted Raiden having made his stand against the Deletor. He was severely hurt, and her orders from her vanguard were to save everyone that they could. Even though there was a distinction between high-rank and low-rank, anyone who fought the Deletor head on would be treated first in Rosalia's book. So the azure-winged Angel, dressed in white and blue, landed just next to Raiden's side. "You fought well, even if previously injured it seems. Relax. The pain will end soon." Although perhaps making it sound like the guy might die wasn't the best approach, the Angel placed her hands over the male. One was over his head, the other on his chest, and the warming light filled the wounds across his entire body. This light would be well-known by the time the battle was over, healing the injuries as quick as possible.

Mordred, Blaster Dark, and Seifer were all rather surprised as Seifer's wounds closed... Wait, since when could Rosalia heal? "Uh, little bit? What... Is that?" he was rather curious as to how she managed to get this at all. And it was yet another thing to make him feel inadequate but he'd be hiding that while he could. He stumbled a bit as he pulled away from Blaster Dark's support to try and stand on his own.

Neo was sick and tired of these reapers and monsters coming to terrorize everything and everyone. So it was Neo vs the Chimera, Brawlers against Deletors.

Time to show not only everyone, but Narukami.. My Resolve!

From the very start, Neo played agressive and stayed agressive because he knew the power Deletors had. He rode his Vanguards, called out his units and showed Chimera just how serious he was. Even pulling a double critical trigger on his very first drive check, Neo could sense that his Narukami units were responding to his feelings. Then "that" Deletor card came... and its powerful force Deleted Neo's Vanguard and locked his front row rearguards. But that didnt stop Neo. Even when attacking with his deleted Vanguard, he kept checking trigger after trigger after trigger and the deck just kept responding to every feeling Neo had... Chimera had other plans.. Continuing to delete the Vanguard and lock the front row but Neo wasnt phazed in the slightest.. then Neo drew his ace card.

Ride The Vanguard! Fist of Passion! Brawler, Big Bang Knuckle Dragon!!

Neo then Legioned his ace with Slash Dragon and did his fierce Legion combo with Fighting Dracokid to retire all of Chimera's units but it survived the onslaught. After that moment Chimera had no way to deleting Neo's Vanguard anymore.. and thats when Neo knew there was his chance for victory! Giving out punch after punch, Neo kept hitting Chimera hard. Attack after attack, trigger after trigger, Neo showed no signs of letting down. He was letting out all of his frustrations out on Chimera who eventually couldnt handle the final onslaught and was defeated as the 6 damage fell..

Just then..

My Vanguard

Just then Neo heard the voice of Knuckle and Slash Dragon. He looked around but he knew he was hearing things clearly.

My Vanguard.. You have shown us that you are ready for the battles yet to come. Its time for you to obtain the power of my evolution!

Just then a bright light shined blinded Neo but when the light disappeared Neo looked down at his deck and he noticed a card on the top of it..

Brawler, Big Bang Knuckle Buster.. It came to me..

Beatrice frowned as she watched Raiden go face the...Reaper as he called it. She looked at the bangle she was given. "...Seems my service is needed for something greater than I imagined." She took out her deck, looking at it before nodding. "Alright. I must help provide support! Its time to serve! Jelly and Pudding!!!" Calling for her ace Battle Sisters, taking a second to admire their now real form, she ran with the first aid kit to patch up anyone that was in need of helping while Jelly and Pudding provided her cover. Her first target was Raiden, kneeling down to him and assisting the healing angel. "I told you to take it easy." She began to administer first aid for him once more in the midst of the chaos, her Battle Sisters protecting her.

Halcion grunted as she felt the full force of Darren's Busters. The battle had started with words. Words that could not reach Trinity. The control Harbinger had on her was too powerful. As powerful as Harbinger herself. And it didn't help the constant distortion of Flonne's memory sinking in, memories of the war the world went through all to have her. The war that destroyed Flonne's timeline. This only caused Halcion to further aggravate as she fought more fiercely, calling her Reverse soldiers to her sides to attack the busters. Yet despite even deleting twice, Darren overcame the deletion with constant riding and was able to overwhelm the Star-Vader. While her armor did protect her, the attack was strong enough to send her flying back and away from Darren, her armor disappearing. She had lost the battle. Yet she would not stop from that. The cybernetic drone just needed a bit of time to recover from the assault and Halcion would once more fight again.

Raiden felt the support of two people trying to help him. They were able to stop the bleeding and heal his wounds. He gave a couple of coughs before his eyes shuttered and opened. Raiden looked to see Beatrice, giving a small smile to her and then turned his head to see the angel. In a situation like this, why would there be anything strange about an angel healing his wounds? "Thank you both..." Raiden said, still feeling weak. Even with his injuries dealt with he felt himself in too much pain to move.

Darren saw Halcion defeated. Her armor disappeared and he felt as though he had won. Even with that, he had used too much energy again, though for different reason. The aerial battle was difficult to maintain, it would be for anyone. His stamina was at its limit, and so what his body from all of the attacks one after the other. Harbinger's control was too strong, so he knew he would likely fight her again. For now... he needed to rest. Metalborg Sin Buster set him onto the ground as he felt his eyes close. "I know... we will win this..." he muttered.

Revengers, Brawlers, Liberators, Detonics, Armor Break, and Jewel Knights rapidly blasted the aerial Reaper, causing it to wail in fear. He could not feel pain, but he knew that they all know their weakness. His weakness! He would die like his brothers! Chimera did not want to die, so the reaper stayed in the air, never getting close to the ground so the Resistance couldn't tear him a new asshole. Seifer and Raiden did significant damage, with Carlos just blatantly blasting the fusion monster with the Detonics-Armor Break slaughter. Neo evolved entirely, reaching the same pinnacle of physical might Bashiro did by summoning the Big Bang Busters. Noel... Noel was a beacon of light many, many people not completely hidden were watching from afar. Even with a massive struggle, Chronojet's light blessed her as one of the two.

Noel, once again, turned the power of Reverse against Link Joker. Even with such heavy shackles on her units and herself to an extent, the miracle that restored deleted units carried everyone to inflict heavy, heavy damage. Okuri and Mitsuki had successfully set the stage, and the Deletor was floating backward - it was running away! The Resistance sure as hell wasn't letting him get away! Chimera nearly killed Noel to escape, but that was not happening! Every last Deletor of lower grade than himself blocked off Yvain, but that left a path open for the Jewel Knight utilizing their own void.

Ashlei Reverse cut at Chimera, leaving an open gnash in his skull when he made the poor mistake of turning around.

It isn't broken, but that was the opening to crack it.

"NOOOOOOOOOO!!" Chimera began retreating.

"After him!" Yukino stated.

"Chosen Sword", Chronos spoke up, floating alongside her. "You wish to surrender to the Reapers, no longer wishing to fight them. Why are you still here?" The Spirit of Time inquired, stopping a number of the middle team. Yukino ceased running, and they all stared at her. That also troubled anyone who could hear it on communications, including some of those in shelters and the like. King Artorigus frowned, disliking this twist in morale. Humanity was happy with the tournament, terrified of the Reaper, hopeful with restoration, and now concerned for a leader who didn't even want to be here.

"... I've been meanin' to say something about that, actually." Bashiro admitted, approaching the woman with a hand on her shoulder. He took a deep breath in the middle of the chaos, staring at his commander. "... If you don't wanna keep at it, that's alright. You deserve a rest after the shit you've been through. So we'll just take care of everything."

"No." Yukino perked up, and walked forward, then turned to the soldiers and Chronos. "I've been to Hell and back, and I would absolutely love to sleep. To be done with this forever, even if it wasn't over. But there's a clear reason why I don't. ... Because I love humans more than that desire."

"For what purpose?" Chronos asked. "How can a mortal filled with anger and the will for vengeance say she 'loves' everyone? You don't even know all humans."

"I don't know them."

"Then?"

"I know the people around me, and I love them. And each of those people have names. Bashiro here, John, Shirosaki, Hichigo, Emilly, Teja, and more. I know all of your names, and I know you all have families across the globe and around you. Not only do I want to protect them, but I want to protect your families too, and I want to protect their friends, and I want to protect your friends' friends."

"Why? Because a title? The 'Chosen Sword'?"

"... I believed in that destiny as someone who would have to lead and protect. But I don't care about fate anymore. Simply because I want to be that person described as the 'Chosen Sword'. So I'm not going to give in for a minute, even if I want to. So long as nobody else wants to die, I'm going to be the iron hammer that obliterates the void."

Yukino turned, eyes flashing red repeatedly.

"Humanity, look before you!" Yukino pointed to the sky, and Chronojet's light shined down on the fainting Noel and Haruka in the distance. "Those two saviors ceased the movement of drones, who wished to take this chance from us! You witnessed your beloved Vanguard in its true form as it once was before! A sport - a way of life - a game! The evil that soars through the skies threatens your very lives by forcing us to use it for war! We must to drive out the blackness of tomorrow! However, because of those two lights, it will not be a tool of conflict any longer! Twin towers that restore hope for the next day where your children do not fear stepping outside! To where events like Chronicle's Eve will fill your hearts with joy again! They, I, and every last being who stands against the Reapers will break to the future and end the nightmare!"

Yukino's eyes turned completely white for a moment, and ethereal spirits of Hikari, the queen of the civil war... Yami, the darkness of the civil war... Yugure, the lost maiden of the War of Liberator, and the commander, Yugure who threw away her humanity, and finally... Queen Yukino, the mad woman who took over her entire timeline only to doom it with her arrogance. Inspired by Haruka and Noel, and finally learning from them and Chronos, along with other insightful and powerful entities... even her enemy.

The queen entered a space of a yellow sky, standing on a cloud. Before her was a massive shrine with two blades on the sides of what appeared to be a single sword of pure light. A figure of the same energy, shaped like herself with a blade in each hand appeared.


Every Yukino merged.

Her eyes, permanently red from enlightenment, opened after visiting the summit. Light shined under her finger.


Dawn began to rise, along with every human being on Earth and all those Crayborn who stood against the Reapers given hope by the twin beacons and the Resistance leader. Exculpate had Alfred XIV's card levitate in front of her, then summoned an outline of his jetpack. She took off, running forward as the hands of the Meister traced its shape. The Blaster of Transcendence leaped, and was engulfed by light for an instant, coming out with the jetpack entirely equipped to her back - successfully creating armor for the first time with white gauntlets and armored boots. We cast off the past, and head for the future, Exculpate mentally declared, letting the bright blue energy of the machine on her back burn away her commander's jacket, tossing aside the sadness of "Yugure" in flames. This woman... could fly! With the brilliant light of the summit, the Chosen Sword emitted it like a shield, resisting the bullets of void that slammed into her.

"Haruka!" Yukino called out, then leaned forward somewhat, ready to charge at Chimera as a human bullet and safeguard her beloved from erasure.

Chimera, even if he escaped, would remember humanity is no longer afraid of them.

Kachidoki spun about at incredibly high speeds, as if he was a ninja instead of a samurai, but his blade fended off Aedan's and deflected Xat's knives. He stopped feeling the warmth of the sun and the shift of the air.

"I'm okay Fubuki!" Aoi turned, smiling as she glowed with the rising sun. "But look, everyone!"

The Reaper was flying away in the heat...

Haruka stared at Yukino realizing that the transformation that had just happened was... astonishing, and terrifying at the same time. He knew Yukino had hidden powers, but this wasn't on the occupation list last time he checked. Maybe he bit off a bigger piece than he could really chew. Haruka's words were shaky, but he was determined this time to aid Exculpate. This wasn't a battle of units on Cray anymore, it was a battle of humanity and its desire to live.

"THIS NEEDS TO STOP!!" Chimera roared, finally properly deleting Lambros. Yukino's excellent maneuvers around the fused titan dodged a grand amount of hits early, working in tandem with Haruka recovering damage repeatedly with Kitchen Sailor. Gwill came to further Chimera's locks and hold Haruka down. Yet, giving up wasn't possible for him, even in the darkness of locks. Hitting the behemoth was no longer an issue, as the navy commander's beloved grew wings, staying in perfect range to beat it down. Lambros finally performed Legion and the "Formation of Hope" began a swift assault that humanity began to cheer over. Children and their mothers began coming out from the underground, working office men came out of the shelters with their wives, the Resistance were all roaring triumphantly with joy even if the Reaper wasn't dead yet.

The drones had all stopped to watch the utter dismay of the flying Reaper, and Fuki called for a retreat. They can do no harm to anyone like this. Nodding, they begun to escape from their battles.

Wanting no more of this, Chimera devoured every other Deletor in his soul possible, ascending to an utterly massive power. Then, he deleted once again, struck at Michael, and aimed for Milos...

"Heh", the Aquaroid would sneer. "Eat shit!" Was something of the like Chimera heard as the repelling Resist that had newly appeared among Cray's forces deflected lock! Hermes was still hit, but it still filled the hearts of the worlds with even more excitement and happiness. Earlier, the Mixed Deletor used three Perfect Guards for an absolute defense representing a Reaper's body, however, had nothing left but a boosting Edda. With a single Perfect Guard, Yukino grinned madly as her beloved completely thwarted the humongous cheat with the Emerald Shield of Hope.

"Stand! And! Draw!" Everyone roared as Haruka drew Milos again. Combined with the sole grade one unit in his hand, Restoration commenced, flipping the Legioned Blue Storm vanguard face up, and unlocking the front row Michael. Exculpate summoned the Blasters of Fate and the Nation Saving Lion to stand with all of them, and with no formation, an all-out attack commenced. Chimera cried and shrieked as, even thought Goot was healing its head, the assault was too much, causing even more cracks. Courage, Resolution, and the Hero all latched onto Chimera, ceasing all of his movements.

"GOOOOOOOOO!!" Humanity demanded and Yukino shouted to Haruka. Noel and Haruka vastly exceeding the damage threshold, the incessant waves led by the National Hero slammed into the Reaper's head, causing it to wail in agony as its head was blown open, shards of its being flying like broken glass.

"NOOOOOO MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE!!" Chimera screeched, creating a shockwave of void that pushed everything away from him. With purple ooze dripping out of its head, and more pieces of its skull starting to fall out, the terrified beast hastily flew away. In the morning sun, mankind and more witnessed the first Reaper that was completely horrified by their power, fleeing like a coward with its literal tail between its legs. It wasn't dead, but still was a time for celebration and smiles. This was the power they finally reached after a sea of despair. Chronojet's boon and the light of heroes, especially those two who were able to remind the world about their Vanguard.

Aoi hugged Fubuki, the Hakaisha brothers fistpumped, Chronos continued to smirk. The Cardfight Association smiled contently, remembering today all who fought Chimera, the boy who the infection of Reverse commanded by one woman alone, the girl who obtained blessed healing prowess to save the lives of those falling in battle, the finalists of Chronicle's Eve, and Chronojet's care. The Resistance and those who fought against the giant reaper... everyone was a hero today. Exculpate's red eyes gleamed auspiciously, happier than anyone else to seed one of her worst enemies scared out of their wits by their efforts.
