Reaper Invasion - Dual Threat, Ten Deaths!

Disruption of a peaceful Seaside Mega Mall shopper's day was brought about by chaotic roaring, both differing from each other in sound to alert the populace that there was more than one. More... than one of those demon invaders that attacked before, the same beasts the military had problem with against only one at a time! Backing away from the window, everyone bore witness to two gigantic creatures – that which resembled a scorpion of purple and yellow trimming coloring with a demonic face as opposed to the others that resembled skulls. Claws dug into the earth as it traveled on all fours, not having normal pincers like its namesake. Flying in from the side was that which had no wings but multiple heads, more organic in a blue and orange compared to its ally. A monstrous look of a reptilian abomination with a mouth in its connected neck, an open red eye at its pelvic area, and powerful – buff limbs to hold what was a massive body attached to them.

The collective screeching and howling of the Deletors began to break apart windows in their direction, causing panic among the public as Hydra stuck its heads into the mall, seeking to devour instead of erasing while Scorpion stood at the entrance to block off those escaping, gripping them in a pincer-like grab with his claws. A tail coated with malicious power was the last one would see before being deleted.

Karin made good time in getting to the location of descent quickly, as she usually did. It looked like the last few Reaper Descents; destruction all around, people and structures being destroyed and deleted left and right, things being erased from existence before Karin's eyes. Only two things were different this time- Karin was on the Reapers' side now, and this time, there were two Reapers descending. "First they divide our forces, then spread them even thinner by sending in two monsters... She's a good tactician, I'll give her that much."

"Hold nothing back. Strike down any enemy that appears before you."

Karin nodded to herself- and to the voice in her head. Her orange-tinted eyes began to glow again, and her inner fire blazed out, just as it had against Kraken. This time, however, the aura she radiated so brilliantly was orange, instead of its original blue color, just like her eyes. "Now we wait..."

"Nooooooooooooooooo!!" Aoi cried, gripping at her hair as she arrived with the military, who stormed into the mall past the reapers to evacuate the civilians. "They got the ice cream shop!! Those monsters!"

"I think there's a bit more pressing than that, sweet pea." Bashiro groaned with a sweat drop running down the side of his head. Heads turned when a motorcycle arrived, a military man with a scar on his face, seeming incredibly serious and edgy with the formally dressed queen seated behind him and holding on, her legs together on one side of the vehicle, as the dress made proper seating a bit difficult. Removing the helmet, the sight was a bit terrifying, but not one that was new to Yukino, having seen these monsters all over the place before.

"You know your jobs! Those willing need to attack the Reapers and get them off of the mall! For those of you who aren't confident in their Vanguard ability, go in there and save every last person you can!" The commander shouted the usual priorities: distraction and combat while others rescued.

"Before everyone's gonna get hyped up about cracking skulls open, one of those guys has... seven heads." Bashiro pointed out, a bit worried about such an odd situation. The commanding Meister fiddled with some buttons on her more advanced bracelet, bringing up large projections of the monsters before them. Codenamed Scorpion and Hydra - Newark and Fruet respectively. This information was transmitted to the Resistance to know the identities of the threats.

"... Breaking all of Hydra's skulls may be our only option, seeing as we can't pinpoint the one we need." Hikari stated.

"Can we even do that? That one spooky floating guy one-shotted Kraken's head, but I can already guess we're not as strong as him." Jessie replied.

"Bashiro, your fists are extremely powerful - physical might beyond what should be human. We're going to need that force to open one of their heads." Yukino spoke to the thug, surprising him with the notion that he was one of their keys to killing a Reaper without Chronos.

"Me? Well... uh... Yeah, I guess that would be something I can do, huh."

"Moving around like this is going to be difficult..." Yukino noted the problems her long dress presented, and subsequently summoned Ahmes and Cerdic. Ahmes walked forward himself to the Reapers, while Cerdic stayed with his Vanguard. "Cut this dress for me."

"Eh?" Cerdic was taken back by such a command... The Romance Seeker blushed at the gods favoring him and him alone for this task. To rip his lovely vanguard's garments up!

"Don't just stand there, hurry up!"

"R-Right!" Cerdic got out of his love-crazed trance and crouched down, using his sword to cut a large portion of the dress' bottom off, and also cutting an opening to her right thigh, vastly increasing her mobility as she would not have to worry about tripping on her sparkling garb to make herself a sitting duck. With gratitude, she broke her own heels, expensive shoes be damned, and went into battle.

"FOOD?" One of Hydra's many heads turned to see humanity's arrival.

Solis slowly walked his way there from the beach.

Sakuya followed closely behind Aoi and the others, arriving at the scene of the Reapers' twin rampage. "O-Oh my goodness... This is horrible..." Sakuya stared in awe and fright at two Reapers tearing apart the city, her fear clear as day. She hadn't gotten nearly this close the last time.

She huddled close to her rival champion. "Are we really going to fight those monsters? A-Are you sure we can do it?"

Karin stared on as the remaining members of the Resistance- and a handful of new ones- began appearing. "And here they come... By your command." Karin spoke quietly to the voice in her head, awaiting its order to move out.

"What in the actual hell do you keep teleporting me around for?! I have legs! I can walk!" a rather upset Seifer appeared away a bit from the actual carnage, thanks to Fuki teleporting him. He hated that sensation. That being said, being teleported here? Oooooooh boy, this was glorious to behold! "Oh Harbinger you lovely witch, this! This is beautiful!" the insane driven Seifer started clapping his hands furiously, laughing like a maniac. "Now, what should I do? Oooooooooh I know... I'll wait for those kiddies that think they're heroes! Can't have them interfering with this, now can I?" the grin just grew wider as his head tilted forward, the rings around his eyes glowing brighter. "I'm coming for you Miss Priss... But can you handle the trauma I'm going to subject you to this time?"

Okuri arrived alongside the rest of the resistance only to see up close the monsters he had seen back at the base. They truly were massive and more frightening in person. Hearing the others speak of strategy it was said that the head's needed to be cracked open before any real damage could be done to them. Looking out Okuri could feel his illusion being seen through all over the place. It appeared the Reapers or at least those with their power would see him as he was. In the heat of the moment it was hardly where his focus was going to be so everyone would likely get a glimpse here or there.

Moving forward he noticed Hikari's rather revealing dress being torn to shreds to ready herself for battle. An interesting occurrence amidst everything that was going on to say the least. Bashiro apparently would have the force needed to break a head open. Okuri walked up beside him. "I'll do what I can to get you clear for a shot at one of the heads. Pick a target and I'll follow you out." he said.

Nearby Seifer, following his every move, was of course, Lua.

"Silly trash, trying to interfere with my boyfriend's friends...you're all going to go away. We're going to take things over just fine." She glared in particular at a taller, attractive-looking man whose clear purpose was to distract her from her love, when of course that wasn't actually the case.

Carlos arrived shortly after the soldiers from the Resistance, having taken the long road. And of course, you could see how tired he was meters away. "*Pant* *Pant*... I need to get a drivers license... *Pant* Or at least a bicycle and a map...*Pant* Ok, if I recall correctly, we need to break open their skulls to hurt them..." He said, recovering his breath.

But, upon seeing that one of the invaders had more than one head, he went pale. "... Why? Just... Why?" The young man felt so distraught that moment. And Hikari mentioning that they had to break open each skull made it much worse. But there was no time to lose, as they needed to take down the invaders before they could do more damage. "Whatever! I'll do my best! Let's go, my units!" He shouted, activating his bangle.

Haruka, Mizumi and Satoshi all made it to the scene with impeccable timing. Haruka and Mizumi both activated Reality Bangles, and made their way to the main two baddies. They looked to each other, then Satoshi, and then made a split. Sera slid down the escalator railing and started mad dashing through the escaping people. He was wearing an outfitt similar to Haruka's military outfit, retailored for himself. It had rips in the sleeves and knees for more ease of movement.

"Lock-On."

Sera was already going Super Saiyan. He wanted to end this quickly and without a hitch. Mizumi made it to the sidelines, pepping herself up before the battles began. Haruka had other plans. He wasn't going to stand still and wait to be pulverized by a tentacle this time.

"Glorious force of the almighty waves, aid me in my conquest!"

Thavas and Lambros instantaneously appeared on the surface of Earth with Haruka.

"To victory, ho!"

They charged straight ahead for the Reaper codenamed Scorpion.

"Now. Act."

With a silent nod and a grain of salt, Karin reared up and blasted off. Shooting out like a rocket, she leaped into the fray, leaving a bright orange trail behind her from her takeoff point. She practically flew through the sky before landing down in the middle of the path between Haruka and Scorpion. As she landed, she rebounded off the ground and threw herself at Haruka... Intentionally missing him by just a few inches. With his attention undoubtedly on her, Karin stood back up straight and lifted her arm into the air, the Reality Bangle beginning to shine in a brilliant orange glow, just like the aura visibly flowing off of her.

"I'm sorry, Haruka, but I can't let you go any further. Your opponent is me."

Mirai finally arrived at the mall and her bad feeling was spot on. Her favorite mall has now become a battlefield against these horrible creatures known as the Reapers. It made her really upset that this place of all places became the next target for the Reapers to attack. Darn... why here... and why did my feeling had to be right?! And are my eyes playing tricks on me... there is more than one?!

If one Reaper was tough, now there were two here. Mirai gulped and gripped her deck even tighter knowing that this wasn't going to be easy. "I hope I can win this time... I don't want my cards to disappear!"

Ignoring ALL of the others, Seifer proceeded to find Yukino in this crowd. That's what this Reverse persona was after. After several moments, even letting one or two of the ones he should be intercepting get past him... He found her. Using the bangle he had, Blaster Dark appeared... Leaping at Yukino blade drawn... Seifer following behind him at a casual gait, hands in his pockets, eyes glowing brightly... And a dark aura permeating around him. Oh this would be such glorious fun! Though, could she even defend... Against the first attack from Blaster Dark, aimed to kill her off now?

As Okuri continued scanning the area someone in particular caught his attention. Seifer was here, on the battlefield of all places. This was the last place he wanted to find him again but sadly not an outcome he hadn't seen coming. Despite just having said he would follow Bashiro out he needed to ensure Seifer's safety. Hikari had been through enough and losing her brother because he was on the battlefield in less than peak condition wouldn't help anyone.

He took off at a run for Seifer's location, moving awfully fast for a human which might have seemed odd to those not able to really see him. As he moved closer he soon noticed a girl nearby who was staring him down for some unknown reason. He thought to shrug it off and continue on his way to Seifer only to see him begin an attack on Hikari herself. Stopping in place not far from the strange girl he tried to take in what was going on.

"HEY! BACK OFF!" Lua came down like a bat out of hell, grabbing the man by the scruff of his neck.

"Let him do his thing! You and I have business to settle!"

Bashiro sweat nervously at the sight of Lua. The blonde in his dream was so nice and sweet... why did this one ooze evil?

Yukino was pressing on toward the Reapers when her warrior's instincts kicked in. And even before the queen could turn, Blaster Blade Seeker had come back to clash swords with his old rival once again. As the blasters of fate collided, Hikari herself did a hard turn, having her shoe skid on the ground to see her beloved Yunos and... Seifer?

"Seifer...?" The woman stopped her charge up to higher ground.

Blaster Dark continued to fight with Blaster Blade Seeker, the rims around his irises glowing a deep red... Much like the lines around Seifer's. The male in question stepped forward toward Yukino, giving the largest smile he could. "Kind of, sort of, maybe?" he laughed before leaning forward a bit, looking almost like a ninety degree angle. "No shit stain! It's me! Remember me?" the Reverse entity attempted to force an image of Seifer being held up in by barbed chains while this look alike was before him... Glowing with Reverse energy.

Standing back up, he continued to smile. "Oh dear, oh dear. You keep messing up. This is the... What? Third? Fourth time you've let me take your oh so precious brother? And this time! Ooooooooooooh this time you could of prevented it!" a sadistic cackle erupted from his mouth.

Mirai saw two knights fighting, one was.... a Seeker! It was probably the Yukino person Mr. Thunder Man spoke about! That was when she picked up her Light Saver Dragon card and tried to do what everyone did before, Let's hope this works!

"Wings of righteous light, descend to our world and help our friends out! Seeker, Light Saver Dragon!!" Mirai held up her Light Saver card high up and the card shined brightly along with her bangle and when the light dimmed down, there it was. Light Saver Dragon, physically here summoned by her. There wasn't enough time to be amazed, someone was in trouble. "Lighty, help our fellow Seeker!"

Light Saver Dragon flew towards the fighting knights and did a surprise attack to the knight in black armor.

In a flash... Phantom Blaster Dragon appeared to defend Blaster Dark while he dueled with Blaster Blade... Knocking Light Saver away from Dark. With him... were more black knights, those who shouldn't exist here... Blaster Javelin, Blaster Axe, Blaster Rapier, and Blaster Dagger... All dark knights were prepared to defeat the insolent Seekers who dared attack. "How annoying. Another one of you light spectacle ingrates... Who is it this time?" turning his head, the Reversed Seifer stared at Mirai and her knights sighing. "Just gotta spoil my fun huh? You CAN'T JUST LEAVE ME ALONE? FINE!" the reversed aura flared up. "How about I just kill you both... AT THE SAME TIME?!"

"Karin, you're gonna sorely regret this. Lambros, Thavas, let's go!"

"Aye!"

Haruka and the Aqua Force began the assault from Turn 1. The battle of purgatorial flames and abyssal waves made this a clash nobody could miss. The twisting and turning tides met with the heat and everlasting power of the fire from Overlord. Lambros was late to the front lines due to Paschal receiving heavy damage guarding for Tidal Assault. He would come later...

Zaharias versus Dragonewt. Haruka had sustained minimal-to-no damage yet, whereas Karin was receiving nearly fatal casualties at the brutal force of the waves. The battle waged on and and on until....

A new Overlord stepped up to the plate.

Zaharias and Ianis were deleted from the battle. Haruka was in awe... no, horror, that his beloved sister would not only harness Delete, but use it on someone she considered family. Haruka was no longer looking to help, he wanted to rush.

The flames of purgatory burned at Haruka's feet. The waves were receeding. Was it really going to be over this quickly...?

From behind the front lines it could be heard...

"Go, go go go go gogogogo!"

Lambros and the remaining armaments arrived ready for battle. Haruka prepared the forces, and on his mark they began the counter-assault.

"1!"

Hermos struck.

"2!"

Ianis shot.

"3!"

Lambros, with the aid of Thavas dented into the Overlord, causing another cry of rage.

"4!"

Ianis stood, this time with the power of the entire force on his back, shooting for the kill....

Guarded?!

Karin was not letting this go...

The battle waged on until a last ditch effort by Tidal Assault to bypass the main field and strike Overlord at the core. Distracted with small attacks that wouldn't land, Lambros gave Tidal Assault the okay. They attacked...

SIMULTANEOUSLY? The Vanguard and his units struck for an all-out attack!

Overlord could not sustain the final bits of damage coming out. Karin's Overlord fell to Haruka's marine generals. The Blue Storm pushed forth to wash out the Perdition Dragons.f

"Karin... I-I miss him too..."

The bond of Overlord remains, even when no longer wielding his power. Haruka was soaked in either sweat or saltwater, but it didn't matter. He felt the fire burning on the waves.

"But this..." He gritted his teeth.

"This is not how you honor a Legend!"

Karin only replied with....

"For Hikari's sake, and everyone else's... I hope she wins." Without another word, Karin and her new force of Perdition Dragons evaded the remaining assault from the Aqua Force, leaving the battlefield. Haruka stood there, in a mix of hopelessness and redemption.

"For everyone's sake, I'll win too. Watch me, Karin."

He pushed forward, on his way to the bloody Scorpion.

Yukino grit her teeth and seethed, knowing exactly who this was - the Reverse that was within Seifer three months ago. It was supposed to have been gone, but she should have known leaving Nebula Lord with him in sugarcoated words was a bad idea. Yet again was someone she cared for deeply lost to Link Joker. "Give him back to-" Before Hikari could shout, Light Saver Dragon suddenly intercepted Seifer, who summoned Phantom Blaster in turn. Another Seeker player? The queen looked over to where Mirai was, not knowing who she was in the slightest.

Hikari decided to question it later, and focus on beating these demon spawn out of Seifer.

The Blasters of Fate continued their wordless assault onto one another, the rest of the world ceasing to exist in their white-hot battle, not even noticing Phantom Blaster preventing Light Saver from attacking Blaster Dark.

Hydra sustained several blows thanks to Carlos, who defended Recklessness Dragon every single turn once he hit the board. No matter what happened, Hydra could not devour the one he treasured so much, even when he locked him. Unfortunately, this Reaper unleashed a terrifying power that erased and attacked everything if it didn't hit the first time - the ability to Stand again. It restood, deleted, locked, and banish deleted all at once! This creature was hideously strong, and nobody knew which head to be attacking still!

Armor Break revealed Narukami's wonderful avoidance of Lock, however. Normally, the Limit Break of such mindblowing power would destroy all front row units, it could not retire locks. As such, Carlos' units were protected by the Reaper's own power.

Ridiculous.

In the end, it still broke through and bit down on Recklessness and Carbuncle, deleting Carbuncle, and swallowing Dragonic Deathscythe whole as it was banish deleted.

And the blank card the boy held was starting to be given color.

Aoi rushed in and tackled Carlos before one of Hydra's many heads could clamp down and eat him too.

Lua's army of... were they nurses? Angels? Trying to be attractive for human males? None of it made sense but regardless their power had Okuri on the defensive. But then that power. The delete of his vanguard that he'd never seen before. Tester Fox vanished away leaving defense nigh impossible from the Batreal Legion attack and several powerful rear guards.

New as he was to this strange way of actually fighting people with the game Okuri hadn't been sure what to expect. Certainly not actual pain to accompany the loss yet it came all the same as he was knocked back. His illusion faltered for a good few seconds as he eventually stopped moving once he'd been sent back roughly to Bashiro. All that for nothing. Seifer was attacking his sister and this strange girl seemed so obsessive. What could he hope to do against monsters like the reapers.

Something else caught his attention however as he looked to see his unit Silverwolf still out. And then all at once it vanished out of existence in front of him. The art on the cards faded to black as they fell from his deck to the ground in front of him. This was the power to delete. His illusion completely fell as he looked in shock at what all had just happened, his canine form in clear view of anyone nearby. This was the fight Hikari had been waging and he had wanted to join. He'd had no idea just what it was like. Snapping back into focus he realized he'd dropped his illusion and quickly put it back up whatever good it did him.

Well, that was successful! Lua stood proudly, watching as Silver Wolf got removed from existence. Excellent, excellent...

Wait, that guy she fought was a dog? Or...er...wait, no, he was that guy again. Weird. Lua still grinned.

"I'm not even close to what these things can do, y'know, so what hope do you honestly have?"

Once again, the battle against the invaders began. The young cardfighter wanted to make sure that this fight wasn't going to be like the others. He unleashed attack after attack on the multi-headed Reaper, whose responses to Carlos' taunts made it look like it was a simple-minded creature. However, that didn't meant it wasn't strong.

Once the Narukami user made his treasured Unit, Recklessness Dragon, appear, he went out of his way to protect the blue Thunder Dragon. A part of him felt that he needed to do so. He found a way to do it and fight back the Hydra that seemed to work.

When the attacking Reaper locked Recklessness Dragon and deleted Electric Shaper Dragon from the field, using the Limit Break Skill of Armor Break Dragon, Carlos discovered the weak point of "Lock" - The locked Unit can't be affected by anything until it is unlocked. The Hydra blocked the heavy punch of Armor Break Dragon, preventing the destructive Thunder Dragon from doing what his name suggested it could do.

Although he fought well, Carlos found himself unable to continue the fight and thus, was ready to receive Hydra's death bite by one of it's many heads... But he was protected by the Unit he fought so hard to protect. Breaking through the aforementioned dragon and Blue Gem Carbuncle, Carlos was knocked down by the Reaper. Before the invader could eat him, he was saved at the last moment by Aoi.

"A-Aoi?" He asked, disorientated. He managed to ignore the fact that, in his pocket, the gift Chronos left him was starting to react. "You saved me... Thank you. I wish I could've done the same with Recklessness" He added, with tears in his eyes. "Protecting me... That was way to reckless".

Seifer engaged in a two versus one fight that he just seemed absolutely thrilled to do, using his civil war Shadow Paladins to take on the Seekers. Oooooooooh and how he HATED the light bastards. Against Mirai's, he was aggressive, sadistic... Taunting her, saying how fun it was to cause harm... And then... "Phantom Blaster Overlord, destroy her!" their fight ended... With Phantom Blaster Overlord's power being unable to be stopped... "Gyahahahaha! Knock them aside so that I can deal with this shitstain!" the sadistic look in Seifer's eyes only grew more prevalent as Phantom Blaster Overlord knocked Light Saver Dragon aside.

"Now now, I hope you know... This is all your fault my dear nee-san." as they began. It was a slow painful fight... The Chosen Sword against her Reversed Brother... Blaster Dark against Blaster Blade. The dread dragon against them all. How delicious! "Sadly I can't show you the same despair I showed the other goody goody, however... I hope you like this just as much." the malicious grin on his face held during the entire fight only grew as Phantom Blaster Overlord appeared, black smoke spilling out of his mouth... Eyes a deep red, more than they ever were before. With that... The despair was set... his goal... It wasn't to win this fight in the slightest. Beating her wasn't ready yet... No no, she had to suffer.

However... Even making her suffer, there was a mild irritation at seeing Thing Saver Dragon... A copy of Phantom Blaster, his LIGHT. It was absolutely DISGUSTING. Even so, he continued to try and torment her... Even reveling in his own defeat as Phantom Blaster Overlord hit the damage zone as the sixth, being defeated by Thing Saver Dragon. And even in his defeat... He still wins. Seifer was still reversed. "Oooooooooooooooh how much do you hate me? Huh, huh, huh?" a shitty grin. "I hope you know that the only way to get rid of me now, nee-san, is to kill me! But oh no what's this?! Ahahahahaha!" he clutched his stomach as Blaster Dark kicked Blaster Blade away to return to Seifer's side. "You'd kill your own poor brother! All of this! It's your fault! If only you'd learn... Business... Isn't... Everything. Shoulda picked up that phone." he continued to grin, eyes wide.
