Biography: After the events involving the Seeds, Raiden had a new resolve to discover as much as he could about the strange things happening within the town related to Vanguard. His first step was to go to Yukino, the woman who defeated herself and caused many to sacrifice themselves as well. Raiden confronted and battled her, and in doing so he built a bond of trust with her. He wanted the truth and he wanted to protect Vanguard; he felt like he could trust Yukino with this and assist her.

Within the 3 month transition, Raiden went around the town, asking questions and getting as much information as possible. He learned many things, saw many things. Despite that, he still hasn't found a method to separate the Seed from the boy named Darren Shurensei.

Raiden attempts to connect with others through Cardfights when he notices people of interest related to Darren Shurensei. These people include Noel and Seifer. Through these encounters, Raiden's impatience in wanting answers leads to a misunderstanding with Seifer and Rosalia. Despite this, Raiden continues to pursue his answers. When attempting to battle Xateramusa to better understand her as well, his units are ruined in an accident. Xat helps him to connect to the spirit world in order to travel to Cray and get a new deck so that it can contain the new power of Legion. Raiden speaks to a rabbit who calls himself Lucky Charmy and is told that he should learn to open his heart to others more. Raiden agrees to try and, with the help of a new, strange person Mirai, gains a new deck with the power of Legion within it.

During the battle against the Reapers, Raiden lost some of his units. One of his copies of Autumn Rain Liberator, Coil as well as Twin Blade Liberator, Marlux were both deleted and removed from existence. Raiden had to work around this and has not been able to Cardfight since then. Raiden sees the frustration in Noel and is attempting to help her through it while also researching the Reapers and Malice through the information and energy he has been able to gather through the battles up to this point, however the process is easier said than done.

Personality: During the three months of Raiden searching for answers, he began to also study the unnatural phenomena the town had in relation to Vanguard. This search for the truth of what Vanguard is within this town became a bit of an obsession, leading him to become desperate to find answers at the point at which he reached a dead end in his investigation. Raiden is in no way rash or quick acting, but he does not always take time to explain his methods before acting. This can lead to miscommunication and some would even say he would appear to be cold and heartless through certain decisions. This is not the case, but he does put logic over emotion more often than he should. His spirit animal has told him that this is an aspect of Raiden that needs to change in order for him to move forward. Despite this, he still holds the idea of bonds and comrades strong within his heart, wanting to protect the bonds that the people of this town have with one another, even if he himself cannot share in them.
