Personality:
A cheerful farmboy from the countryside of Japan, holding honesty and companionship in the highest regards. Despite his surprising windfall in recent history, Satoshi makes the greatest effort to stick to his roots and the people he trusts. Conflict has taught him what it is like to struggle, as he was generally naive to the ways of Cray, but since that time, he has taken up meditation and learned to calm himself and accept struggles as a natural part of existence. His newly discovered level-headedness will be necessary in the war against the Star-vaders.

Biography:
Originally alone as a coming-of-age process, Satoshi came to the city to make a new life for himself outside of farming and learn about his ability to communicate with his Neo Nectar deck as though they were a second family. In that process, he met Yukino "Yugure" Espoir, a woman with a destiny centered around the world of Cray, the domain of Cardfight!! Vanguard. He also met Haruka Nakahara, a happy-go-lucky young man with the same appreciation of friends and loyalty as him. The two became fast friends, and formed a bond with Yukino following their collective failure at regionals. Even through their collective struggles, the Triad of Hope remained relevant.

The same period of time, Satoshi met a spirit from Cray who went by the name Seph. He was the representative of the clan Neo Nectar at the Council of Cray, a group composed of the representatives and leaders of all the clans of the world of Vanguard. Seph expressed faith in Satoshi to be the guardian to the two other members of the Triad of Hope so that their futures would carry out as they should for the sake of destiny. To ensure this promise was maintained, the spirit linked himself to the farmboy and stayed by his side as an advisor and assistant in cardfights.

Shortly after the liberation of Aqua Force, Satoshi's memory was wiped on account of the machinations of Schwarzschild Dragon, an entity of Link Joker. Similar to most, he was not acquainted with the sealing of Royal Paladin, Kagero and Shadow Paladin in the ways that both Yukino and Haruka vividly accounted. Upon being shown the memory, he learned he was in possession of a voice that held him accountable for being ignorant of his friends' loss. This affected Satoshi's relationship with the rest of the Triad, along with conflicting feelings about Haruka's intimacy with Yukino. To make matters worse, a mysterious young lady, Neu Edelweiss, showed up with the sealed clans, claiming to want to make the game fun again and not so serious, which spat on the efforts of the Triad. Despite his certainty her intentions were more malicious than she made on, Neu proved impossible for Satoshi to understand.

When the Gold Paladins began the War of Liberation in pursuit of the Beast Armors, Satoshi and Seph took an active role and became the champion for Neo Nectar, attempting to stop Neu Edelweiss from sealing away the rest of Cray for her own use. Unfortunately, his failure resulted in the brief sealing of the clan he loved so dearly, which broke the farmboy's spirit. Despite it only being brief, and the War of Liberation being successful, he decided to turn away from the world of Cray in an effort to escape such strong trauma, trauma he was sure Yukino and Haruka experienced, amongst others.

In the year he spent away, Satoshi spent time in the United States, becoming a face for foreign agriculture. His fame gave him excellent pay and a private residence on Hawaii, the latter of which the farmboy spent most of his time, away from the rest of the world. Becoming acquainted with the natives, he became well-versed in meditation and kept his mind off of the struggles of Cray. His return to Japan bonded him to a new avatar, Fortuna, in an effort to keep an eye on the suffering male. Despite meeting up again with old friends and becoming acquainted with new ones, Satoshi's state of mind was hardly helped. In the wake of everything, a strange pair of red and black interlocked rings became burned into his hand...

With the start of the Invasion, Satoshi became acquainted with the voice inside of him, Cheru. Her mission was to guide him as one of the heads of the new war after contact with the Seed of Link Joker. When this encounter occurred, Satoshi's intentions became twisted and cold under the influence of Nebula Lord Dragon, taking full control of the powers bestowed in his mark to Reverse individuals for the sake of the hostile takeover of both Earth and Cray. Fortunately, Satoshi's heart came through and touched Cheru's own, which led to his release at the hands of Yugure Espoir and the rest of the resistance at his private estate. Even then, Satoshi promises Cheru that one day, Link Joker may be able to join the clans of Cray in harmony.

Now returned to Japan once again, Satoshi seeks redemption in the eyes of the resistance and Cray, despite Yugure's assurance that things are fine as they are. Genesis' new force, the Regalia, have granted him this opportunity to utilize their strengths in the effort to escape the darkness he imposed on Earth. Now on the path of the Liberators, he'll need everything he can to help stop the Star-vaders...
