Card Capital 2 Hub Field

The introduction of the FICA system and the speeches of Japan's new Branch Directors were the talk of the nation. That meant, for her return, Aoi Undyne was blasted with information on all that was going on. The current Chinese Champion had returned to Japan awhile back, wanting to see her friends again and indulge in the land of the Rising Sun's Vanguard. Though, it was mainly just that she wanted to mess around. And of course, what better first stop than Card Capital's new branch: Card Capital 2! Wasn't exactly a name that stuck out, but it got the point across. There'll be a 3, 4, and 86 down the line, probably.

Wasting no time as she got her best friend: Jessie Hakaisha, to come along. They ventured to the card shop where her energy was spread among the crowd. "You guys have to be reaaaally into it!!" A gumball's excited cheer were among her first words, trying to get kids and other faces of the New Generation worked up. "This is our time to shine, you know! One day, someone in this very room might be a Branch Manager! Or a Clan Leader! Or both!! It's pretty cool to think we'll eventually surpass our seniors, y'know?" Aoi cutely tilted her head, her bubbly personality not changing one bit with a charming smile. Too bad some people had a right mind to call her crazy, but others did share her enthusiasm. Jessie in particular was a mix between thinking she's crazy and thinking she was right to be excited.

The two would be spending a lot of time here in Card Capital 2.

"Tch."

A young boy, hooded in black and sporting a rather accommodating a rather dull palette of red, blue and white, sat in the far corner flicking through a deck of cards, obviously eavesdropping on the bubbly girl amidst her chant to raise the morale of Cardfighters, new and old alike. On the boy's hoodie read "RUSSIA" in large white characters, separated by the unlinked zipper. He blew out the corner of his mouth, trying to push strands of blond hair from his vision as he peered up through his hood at the crowd. He listened quietly, less than enthused about joining the scene on his own volition.

He laid back in the chair continuing to eavesdrop casually on conversations in the vicinity, ones about the new donut shop opening around the corner, or the one where someone claimed another cheated and flipped a critical trigger over when they said they had none left in the deck.

"It isn't called cheating kid, it's lying..." Tobi murmured to himself disgruntled, flicking through his Pale Moon deck.

On the other side of things, a sprightly young girl dressed in a red and black sundress and plastic-leather flats strolled in with a small handbag on her left and a deck in her right, with a somewhat determined look spread out on her face. She sauntered up to the crowd of people along the backline, hopping from tip-toe to tip-toe in order to see over the taller Cardfighters in the room. She vaguely waved over the backline to Jessie and Aoi, though there was little chance for them to recognize her in the first place. After so much change had occurred to her regarding her life, she seemed like a new person altogether. Detaching herself from the Nakahara fold and spending time overseas, she's returned a new woman. Granted, she didn't come back with a fledgling glory only growing further with her like some others were able to do.

Instead, she simply tried to get her waggling fingertips over the plethora of people in the shop to note that she was there and was greatly enthused by the little word she gave to the fellow Cardfighters.

The first of these two is Tobi Seragaki, resident hothead teenager with a great kinetic drive and no passion to put it towards. The latter is Mizumi, no recorded surname ever since detaching herself from the Nakahara family and corporation as it were now. Instead she existed as an entirely different individual, still going through some legal paperwork as it were to reinstitute her Japanese citizenship.

The doors to CC2 slid open with a gentle sound, only to be counterracted by the loud voices within the store. This, however, didn't bother the young red-haired boy entering the store. He wore a dark blue hoodie with a white shirt underneath, and his expression emitted pure joy. As the doors opened, he was checking a map he was holding then scanning around him.

"Yeah, this has gotta be the place, right...?" He pondered to himself, albeit vocally.

He shook off any doubt he had by seeing the name of his destination, assuring himself he was in the right place to be. He checked his bag for his vanguard deck, and surely enough; there it was, encased in a yellow box. He took a deep breath and found himself a spot at a table near the center of the shop where all the commotion seemed to be. Part of him really wanted to ask for a cardfight, but first off, he wasn't sure if anyone would want a match with a newbie, and second, wasn't familiar with etiquette in terms of asking for one. For now, he decided he'd simply observe; perhaps learn some. Who knows, maybe this would be the day Lei Concordia started a great journey.

The tall pale figure of american Jace Antonis strode into the Card Capital 2 store on light, graceful footsteps. With him he carried a book bag slung over his shoulder. He looked to be a bit old to be school aged, and the backpack looked nearly empty, at least for now. He strides over to the counter, where the less than impressed shop keep lifelessly looked upon his entrance. Out of his pocket and unfolded appears to be a list of cards, and he hands the impressively long list to the shop keep. "I would like playsets of all of these cards, except where otherwise stated." Jace pointed to a few examples, that appeared to be starting vanguards, and some G-Zone cards that weren't typically run in multiples. The shopkeep sighed and began going through their inventory as Jace stood there and waited. After awhile he was told that most of the Great Nature cards he listed they had, but some of the other cards like the Angel Feather and Link Jokers he listed were fairly rare. He settled for the Great Nature cards and some Angel Feather cards, and sat down as the girl went to grab his cards out of the inventory. The new face seems friendly and otherwise approachable for the extroverted regulars.

Once again, the card shop's door slid open, and in stepped a fresh faced boy, with a head of hair tinted green and hetero chromatic eyes of gold and blue gazing into the shop. A bag was slung over his shoulder, and his outfit seemed like casual dress, but his demeanor seemed tentative at first. Glancing between the people gathered he went to the counter only to notice they were busy helping someone else. Sighing quietly to himself, he sat down at an empty table in the corner by himself and pulled the bag onto the table. Embroidered on the bag was the name 'Ikari Ketsueki'. Opening the bag, Ikari reached inside and pulled out what looked like a deck case, ice blue in color. Pulling the cards out, he set the deck case to the side and fanned the cards out on the table, pouring over them. If someone drew close enough, that being easy as he seemed completely absorbed in what he was doing, they'd be able to notice Genesis cards. Specifically support for Mythic Beast, Fenrir.
