“Yugure” Espoir opened her eyes, standing in Umano Slums – Headquarters with numerous other people. Many were soldiers, some thugs, others just bystanders. The queen looked down at herself, seeing her yellow boots, curvier form held within a gray dress shirt... Her commander's jacket was on as well. Gazing off to a mirror in the distance, she saw her empty blue eyes – the symbol of a Singularity Point, and short ivory hair... Jaws dropped, dumbfounded gasping that quickly turned into over half of Japan screaming in triumph. The Chosen Sword had been freed from her corpse mirror: Nemesis. “Happy” failed to describe how she felt, and it more than likely didn't get the point across for thousands of others who felt the same. Turning to see happy soldiers, she saw the sleazebag Bashiro Hakaisha standing in the open with an excited Aoi Undyne next to him and other rogue-looking characters. Jessie had run out of his house, and saw that everyone was physically formed once again, breathing in the fresh air of mother nature's reprieve. Rushing to his older brother, they fiercely hugged it out – their survival and revival. Yugure dropped to her knees, tears overflowing as she laughed joyously. This was the same with other wartorn heroes, named or nameless. A majestically blazing sun overhead shined down on the planet in a glorious dawn for Japan.

“WE MADE IT!!!!” Bashiro and others roared.

It wasn't just them either. Solis and Kachidoki gazed upon Lake Miseria together, watching children run around and scream matters of Vanguard at one another, content with the defeat of their dream for the end of consciousness. Gastor was pulled into a celebration game of football by people he didn't even know at the park. Chris was promptly arrested, being shipped off to a brand new maximum security mental asylum for another dosage of rehabilitation. The Shop PSY sisters gazed upon the sky in front of Card Capital in loneliness of their sealed away sister... knowing it was for the best.

Fireworks shot out all over Planet Cray, the view of the world in space showing a bright circle of continuous bursting sparkles. All clans had formed a temporary alliance, sans Link Joker, to celebrate this victorious day. Ahmes and Alfred gazed upon the holy nation, both of them unable to contain their pride in victory, and excitement for a new era.

Go on.
Start running.
Start crying.
Start hollering.
Everyone deserves this, as they've all earned it.

Aedan awoke, lying in grass in the park, quietly gazing at the deep blue sky. What had happened? Last thing he remembered...

He interrupted his own thoughts with a yawn, rubbing his eye. He was sleepy, and the breeze felt far to good for him to not try and nap. This felt... great, like a dream. Slapping his cheeks, he sat up, glancing around. Did they do it? Standing, he dusted himself off and started walking around, noticing how carefree and happy everything just.. felt. He smiled. They'd succeeded! Laughing, he took off running down the road, toward wherever. He just wanted to see everyone.

Footsteps closed in, and a gloved hand was placed on "Yugure's" shoulder. The presence knelt down next to her, a familiar voice speaking with concern. "Yukino nee-san, why're you crying?" Seifer's voice spoke, but if she turned around it wouldn't be a familiar face staring back at her. Instead, a pair of gentle silver eyes would be met, under a coat of ivory hair. The figure was dressed in a long black coat, and was tilting his head to the side, and looked like he was only eighteen years of age. "Did something happen?" he spoke again, trying to give a comforting smile, though his face was lined with confusion and concern.

Beatrice looked on at the joyous day, her own feelings ready to burst out. But she kept it to herself, letting out only a bright smile to show her joy as she approached Jessie and Bashiro, ruffling the younger brother's hair. "We have our future." She looked on at the rest of the people celebrating, her eyes focused on Yukino. "And now that we no longer have need for our little fighting force....its time I serve my one true Master. Someone with enough will to stand against all odds and come out victorious." Beatrice nodded to herself, believing she had found that Master she longed to serve for the rest of her days.

Trinity blinked as she was returned to this new world, standing behind Solis and Kachidoki. Just like Yukino,Trinity was no longer in her cyborg body, but her original human body. Yet as she placed her hand on her stomach, she could feel the power of Halcyon still within her. She closed her eyes for a moment before looking out at the playing children. She accepted Harbinger's seed, vowing to use this power to make sure the happiness of these children and all that resided on earth was never extinguished again. And she would help lead the Link Joker clan to have a place in this new future that had been created for them. Trinity couldn't help but smile as she softly sang a beautiful song.

Sophie watched the football game with an annoyance. She looked confused. Why were things so hazy? She could hardly remember what had happened. She could remember one thing though. Electrical pain. She thought about it and smirked. "Maybe I should try electrocution? Why did I never think of that before?!" Planning ahead about future self electrocutions, she suddenly jumped into the football game, not caring of the fact how bad she was at the game. All she could do was cry in delicious pain and joy at the brutal beating she got.

She said as she stood up and streched feeling the wind go through her "You have over come everything and is now ready to take your positon as ruelr of the spirits. We know of your fear about us leaving you and the murakumo clan vow to be there by your side." A unit said as Xat smiled and held her hands out as her units left and became cards again.

She then turned and walked back to were she senced others, if this was her last day being on this earth beofre departing to the spirt plane then she was going to spend it with the others.

Darren awoke in an apartment room, one he hadn't been to in a very long time. He looked around as if it were a normal day, like the past few months had all been a dream. He smiled and stood up. He was still in his clothes. He must have crashed hard the night before. To dream more than three months, he had to have been out for a while.

He went to the desk near his bed. He always set his deck there; he enjoyed sleeping next to it. He placed his hand on the deck and his eyes flashed. They went wide for a moment as he had a realization. It all really happened. He grabbed what he could and ran out immediately. He ran out of the usually empty apartment and past an older woman with blue hair like his who wondered why he was running so quickly. That was his aunt. She probably had no idea what happened. However, a tear of joy could be seen shed. Darren had just walked out after being away for three months and the news reported him fighting devils. She was happy he was safe.

Darren rushed to Umano. His eyes flashed a he felt Trinity and Solis. The differences in energy were so faint now. It was hard to identify one or the other. It would be fun finding out how to tell them all apart. He felt like he went past everywhere important he had been to. Past the Train Station where he first arrived, past the Park where he met Seifer and Noel the first time, past the School where they were all in the Cardfight Club together, past the hospital he constantly visited, past the area the School Festival happened. The Beach where he had a fun day with Seifer and Rosalia, the lake where he met Oruki the spirit dog, and the sight of all of his battles, one after another.

His legs finally stopped at Umano, seeing Yukino and Seifer there. He smiled as everyone was happy and safe. He wanted Vanguard to be fun again, for everyone to enjoy and grow with. That was finally the case.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Meanwhile, Raiden stood in the streets of Umano. He turned and began to quietly walk away. His job was complete. The truth had shown itself, and somehow he lived through it. A small boy placed his hand on Raiden's arm as he was leaving. He held up a card, trying to return it. Raiden smiled and said, "Keep it. Hold on to what's important." That was the last that would be heard of Raiden Mujo. He never even told Karin he was the one to give the information about the Divine Power. There was no need for it.

New Earth Empty Re: New Earth

Post by Doggy Wed Dec 07, 2016 9:47 am

A lone figure roamed about the new earth. His movements were not fast or hurried and for once did not carry any clear direction or purpose. Lights shimmered on silver fur as tails swayed behind the figure. Everywhere he went he saw people and faces that were familiar to him. Like he had done all of this before. He had been to these places, met and befriended these people. The Spirit of the Earth Okuri could hardly believe what he was experiencing as he moved about his renewed home. Memories of a war that felt like a dream were in his head but were clarified and brought back to full remembrance but what he had about his neck and tail. His sash and reality bangle had somehow returned to him where they had been with his friend Carlos.

There were a few people in particular the Spirit was pressed to find and as memories resurfaced and cemented themselves in his mind he soon remembered the way. Yes he would return to the Umano Slums. As he walked the familiar streets he couldn't help but feel the happiness of all around him. Several of the men from various nights of drinking seemed to recognize and call out to him. He warmly responded in kind with greetings. There was no need for disguises here. Here he had found true friends. A group of voices called out celebrating their victory and one in particular seemed very familiar.

As Okuri's slow pace continued he took note of how he had a physical body again, something he had been lacking in the final battle. It appeared to be the one he had had before his first fight with Leviathan. But something seemed off about it. What it was he couldn't place. Only that this sensation too was familiar and yet different to him as were many things he was now seeing. Putting it aside for the moment his eyes fell on three faces he had all but given up on ever seeing again. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] It was almost unreal that all of them, himself included, who had ceased to be were suddenly standing here again. Yet here they were. The spirit hesitated for a moment to go to them. Perhaps it would be better to simply observe humanity again he thought for the briefest moment.

Whatever part of him had come up with this lie was quickly silenced as the large canine ran to his friends as with the energy excitement on his face only a dog could possess. He had wanted to tackle them all but given his size he felt it best not to. That didn't stop him from excitedly nuzzling and licking each of them. The time for pride was past, these were dear friends and Okuri didn't care what he looked like or would be compared to for it.

"You can't know how sorely I've missed you all!" he said as tears began flowing from his eyes. He couldn't stop redirecting his attention to one of the three. Aoi needed to be thanked, Bashiro welcomed back, Jessie hugged for as long as he could. There was simply too much happiness to feel for once. In the middle of it all the Spirit never took note of something happening to him. Tiny spheres of light ascending gradually off of his body. Had he been paying attention he would have known immediately what it meant. But for now all that mattered was this moment, being happy with those he had lost.

Post by Dementuo Wed Dec 07, 2016 10:56 am

Karin awoke to the sight of the lake named "Miseria" in front of her. The Akasha Stratum, Chronojet, Messiah, the divine light that made her feel totally weightless- That was all gone, and in its place, the Earth stood... Restored. Karin let out a long, relieved sigh, staring into the lake's surface. Two eyes were reflected against the water- One a dull, empty orange, and the other a shining yellow. The Overlord and the Reaper, the two beings that made up the twin existence that was Karin stared back at her, and she smiled, a tear that fell from her yellow eye breaking the water's smooth surface. Every bit of her, even her slumbering Reaper half, rejoiced. They'd finally made it to the "Future", and they'd made it together. Everything had been saved. They had won. They were alive.

Her head turned to face the ones next to her- Solis and Kachidoki, who had also weathered through the world's end. It seemed even the Drones had made it through, and though Karin couldn't say for sure about the others, she thought it likely that- Like these two- They were content with having a future too.

Karin leaned herself against a tree, wiping another tear from her eye, still looking at Solis. "I was right, wasn't I? The best future I could hope for is one with you in it, too."
She offered him a hand, her crossed Reality Bangle still firmly attached to her wrist, testament to the union between Karin's two selves. "So how about it? ...Will you go with me into the future, together?"

Post by NeoBuster Wed Dec 07, 2016 3:09 pm

Neo slowly woke up as he found himself back in his apartment in his bed.

"Wha--What happened? How did I.. get back here? Was it all a dream?" Neo said

It felt like a dream but Neo doubted months and months of suffering could just be a dream. He slowly got up and was still in his same ol clothes but as he got up a card fell on the floor. Neo reached down to pick it up and saw it was Blitzkrieg Fury.

"Heh, thank you Blitzkrieg and all of my Narukami units. I owe you all a big thanks for helping me through the tough times" Neo said

"No thanks needed my Vanguard. You now have my spirit power within you. Use it for good causes and we will always fight for you" Blitzkrieg said

"The same with me!" Gauntlet came out and said

"Same with me too!" Knuckle Buster said

Neo was very thankful to have them all by his side. But with everything over.. he wondered how everyone else was. Neo grabbed his decks and ran down the stairs and saw something he couldn't believe.. His Standing Fight Table was there in the hallway.

But I thought.. it was destroyed?! Was that a dream too?" He said

Neo looked at the table more closely and noticed the table was not only brand new but it looked like it was made using high tech technology. Neo wondered but decided not to question it. He folded up the table and ran out headed towards HQ.. running as fast as he could. He couldn't wait to see everyone again!

Neo finally made it to HQ and stared at the entrance.. Everything that happened really did happen. And Neo couldn't have been more excited. To see everyone again, and to see everyone's smile. He slowly walked in and ran towards everyone, looking foward to the new beginnings

New Earth Empty Re: New Earth

Post by Best Girl Wed Dec 07, 2016 4:35 pm

Yugure looked upon the world and could not cease her tears, gazing with the utmost delight at friends and family reuniting. The brothers were laughing while holding each others, and that's something the Chosen Sword's Will was made for. To restore bliss to the people, and finding victory in the radiance of this morning. Knowing her job was truly fulfill and the nightmare had been shattered apart, the woman turned to her altered brother. She didn't even think about him losing his memories, and right now, she didn't care. All she cared about was the fact that he, like many others who were lost, was here. "I'm crying because... Because it's all over...!" The renewed commander sobbed, beaming beautifully and standing to hug her younger brother as tightly as possible. The mirrors of Yukino Espoir, for the first time in around four to five years, felt unparalleled relief - complete jubilance. She clutched a little more harshly than necessary with her superhuman strength born not only from her excessive training as a knight, not only as her prowess of Exculpate the Blaster, but simply pent-up force that was born from the experience of heart-rending struggle. Yugure couldn't help but continue bawling on her brother's shoulder for a few more moments, unable to truly absorb the fact that it was all over for good. This wasn't a dream anymore - the nightmare was over and the Earth had been spared- no, it had been reformed. Beatrice confirmed to serve, now that the Resistance was no longer necessary. Darren, Okuri, among others were rushing to see their friends but she couldn't hear anything but the gleeful festivity of the planet.

"Fluffy!" Aoi cried out randomly in response to Okuri rushing over to her and the brothers. Aoi wasn't actually a fountain of tears like the commander at the moment, though she felt the same level of relief. Cyan, who had lost her timeline to nothing but absolute despair, felt the heaviness of the dying timeline wash away in a flood of euphoria and resurrection. She had a number of questions for why she was in the prime timeline, but knew Cyan was well entrusted to their alternative one - no longer doomed to decline and decay until nothing was left. ... Oh no... she couldn't actually stop those tears after all. The realization of the fact that all her friends and family had been saved... and she herself was revived from the despairing destiny of fading away...! The Chinese Champion refrained from hugs, instead moving her hands over her mouth, and emitting a muffled whimper in confused bliss. How she wanted to do nothing but just rain gumballs from the sky... Aoi quietly thanked Militiades and Maelstrom, knowing that they both must have returned to their home: Cray. The crying lass began to bounce hypnotically... err, happily, greeting her companions.

"Little buddy!" Bashiro called out to the Spirit, the Hakaisha brothers both crouching down to pet him as soon as he arrived. Though the brawler who had lost his eyepatch looked at his kin, seeing a detail that was completely off. "Uh, Jessie, since when were you a brunette?" He inquired, which confused the younger sibling. The little one called for a mirror, and saw that his white hair had all turned brown...?! The boy had a number of questions, and for now, he was only going to blame them on time shenanigans. He had a lot of words for Chronojet Dragon, but for now, they were of thanks. Giving a shrug silently motioning "whatever dude", Jessie hugged Okuri, and Bashiro pat the canine entity before standing up. The thug's two eyes, both open and exposed to the public looked around at the miraculously high spirits about the world. "Oi, oi! We gotta celebrate! Come on, this time, drinks on me!" Bashiro shouted, completely forgetting his vows to not drink or be any less of a useless asshole after Jessie was deleted. Though, he wasn't lying about treating people himself this time... Well, it seemed like that, nobody could really know until he actually dished out the money. Thankfully, everyone was too happy to be skeptical, and many other thugs and mobsters began running off to a bar with him. Jessie tried to call out to him, and only sighed irritably as Aoi gave a refreshing giggle.

"Hoo boy." Jessie grinned.

"Come on girlie, what the hell are you doing?!" Gastor shouted at the park, actually having a good time with the makeshift football game involving real players, some casual working men, and kids. Much to his annoyance, this terrible player Sophie was put on his team. Luckily, he didn't really care. He was enjoying his favorite, violent sport, despite having lost the war on Harbinger's side. All he could do was move on, and he was gladly doing so. He was content the strong obtained victory and reward, and they were nice enough to share it with the other drones. Maybe he was a little humbled by such generosity...

Kachidoki looked at Solis, who was contemplating what his companion Karin stated to him. Honestly, the two were a bit bitter that humanity would struggle and suffer through the unknown when they didn't have to. Even so, Solis who showed it through his expression... sighed deeply, as if blowing out his anger and remorse of the fact. "Ridiculous..." The ancient sun warrior responded, not even sure why he wasn't in his own timeline. ... Though, being a Singularity Point, he didn't necessarily belong to one, did he? "When I met you, you were nothing more than a brat who got yourself and Dragonic Overlord hurt. Now, not only are you an Overlord, but you're prattling on about your vow of a future? ... Hahaha... fine. I'll come with you, since I'm convinced you're plenty worthy of Kagero again."

What an ass.

He was surprised by the sudden assault- Embrace, feeling the very life being squeezed from him. But he didn't complain. She wasn't crying out of sadness, so this altered Seifer merely hugged back, letting his beloved elder sister cry to her heart's content... Even if he couldn't breath. He'd make sure to ask what she meant by it's over later when things were a bit more settled. Now that they were both standing however, it became apparent he was also only a few inches taller than her now... not that it mattered. They'd won their struggle, and he was just blissfully unaware.

The Kaiser opened his eyes to find himself standing atop his facility. He looked around at the restored world, almost baffled at how pristine it was now. Everything was... Everything was fixed. It was a bit jarring, given as last he had seen this world which didn't feel like particularly long ago, it had all been in utter ruins. The sun was shining, the sky was a clear blue. He turned around to find the girl from before still standing atop the building with him.

"Your parents should be back. Go find them," the Kaiser said, stepping past the girl.

"No," the girl responded. The Kaiser stopped and turned towards the girl in confusion. "I want to follow you." Silence. Cero had no idea what to say, really. The girl stared at him with a look in her eyes Cero hadn't seen in any eyes in a very, very long time.

"Are you sure about that? You're no fighter." He wanted her to know what she was getting herself into. Even if the greatest threat humanity has ever faced, and likely ever will face, was defeated, other threats would appear. The Kaiser's training wasn't going to relent in the slightest just because of "times of peace." The girl nodded. "Fine then, follow me." The Kaiser opened the door to the training area.

--------------------------

Fubuki stepped out from behind a nearby building, for the first time in forever not wearing Cyan's sweater, having instead being folded up neatly in her hand. The eyepatch was also nowhere to be seen at the moment. A smile was on her face when she saw that her friend had been revived from this nightmare as well. Her current attire was an orange sweater, with a new skirt.

"Aoi," she called out as she walked towards the gathered group. "I think this belongs to you." She handed the sweater to her friend, still smiling a genuinely warm smile for the first time in a very, very long time.

Enough time had been wasted lost at the bed, the pillow holding his head gently through a rest that determined his inability to further the cause for humanity. It didn't matter, and for that he was thankful.

Haruka rose his legs over the way of the bed, escaping the Espoir Medical Facilities. His body was thinner, considerably due to the time he spent in recovery. His skin was paler, gentler even. The worse for wear boy walked across the chilled surface of the hospice floor in nothing but socks and boxers. Reaching the chair across the way, he slipped on the clothes left for him, exactly what he had presumed.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

A checkered service vest, onyx slacks and socks to match, paired with white, wristless serving gloves, and an Oxford tie to bound it together. It was his work uniform. He spent ample time dressing himself, staring out at the distant horizon. The commotion could be heard from his window. Sounds of overcoming joy resounded across this Earth. Haruka finished the knot of his tie, adjusting it in the mirror. His thinness reflected nicely with the trim of his suit, his hair having grown longer and wilder. Such is the fate of the unable.

He spent no time of messages or goodbyes with the rest of the staff. They knew where he was off, so he left his soon-to-be mother and father with a kiss on the cheek and a firm handshake respectively. He was off and onto the worn-on Oblivion, the steel of the bike searing as the exhaust gassed on. The wind was entirely too refreshing, especially for the happened to be bedridden Haruka.

The sounds and cries of laughter and joy and weeping tears of love and endless happiness was what filled the streets. Haruka took his time. He slowed down. The ticking of time was no longer at his heart, bearing down on his shoulders and pushing him.

He wasn't running out of time anymore.

So he rode carefully, slowly throughout. The cheers of people throughout as he neared the destination. His assumptions, usually far from accurate, landed dead center this time. He parked Oblivion at the entrance to the slums, now even taking his careful time walking through the alley. He met a mirror image, a boy who looked exactly like him in every shape and form, save for the careful stitches above his brow that were torn but not removed.

"Sera."

He didn't say anything, he just removed a cell phone from his pocket and flicked through images. He showed Haruka the past five or so minutes. Everyone was celebrating. Haruka looked fondly upon the pictures and wasted no more time entering the scene with Sera in tow. Only one other member of the Nakahara member seemed to have disappeared from the framework of this jubilant dream.

He turned the corner, entering the slums. Faces that had once vanished into the void under Haruka's own watch now remained once more. The disparity of the moment had forwarded itself into momentum. The pace was ephemeral, the speed of the world was not a globe rapidly burning on its axis, but a now still environment for even the two Nakahara brothers to venture into happily. Sera sat upon a stack of boxes by the barracks, his little spot for to watch everyone.

Haruka watched too. His eyes drifted across faces he wanted to run to, embrace with all of his might and say the kindest things he could think of. And yet all he did was watch, his eyes wandering between the blurred focus. Was it this omnipotent pacification that poured over him now? Whatever it was, his only will to forward his body was the meeting of his brother and fiance. Though before he met even them, he spent a careful moment in time watching everyone.

Bashiro and Jessie were alive, and existent. Existent was the important part for him. Even more so, his memory of them had not faded from its vivid place kept high. Not only that, but even the once absent-hearted Okuri resembled a glowing beacon for the dynamic duo of fist and leg. The white haired brothers grinned. Something about this blood of the covenant shtick wasn't holding up its bargain, as the water of the womb seemed to be doing exactly what it intended to.

Something about the world was spinning in the right direction, and for once even Haruka was okay with taking his time about it.

Haruka began walking over to the embraced family. He didn't intervene, but stood behind her, glancing to his brother. She was taller, he was hoping to catch his gaze with slight hand gesture.

"Welcome home," Haruka mouthed stepping back and against the wall only a few feet away. Sera glanced around, looking farther and wider for a different face. He wanted to find the furious legs that sent him flying only weeks ago. He wanted to find the girl that literally kicked his ass.

He would never admit it, not to Haruka nor to her or even to the other Star-Vaders. But Sera loves a girl who can kick his ass.

"Yes... Yes... No! I mean, yes! Yes.... I-I know. I know mom. But- No, listen. Whe- Listen. When someone uses the term 'sabbatical' instead of the word 'break', it means that it could take from two months to a full year". A young man walked through the streets while arguing with his cell phone. As he passed by some pedestrians, he tried his best to keep the whole conversation to a respectable volume. There was no need for someone else to hear him bickering with his mother about trivial matters. Of course, that's easier said than done. "I-I know! Look, I know. I know. But I'm still taking the full year. I have no problem whatsoever. I earned my stay in this country in ways that you couldn't even begin to comprehend, being completely honest. Huh, what did you-? What!? No! I'm not a sex worker! Come on mom, what the actual-!?". He stopped when he passed by a pretty big convenience store. "You know what? Wait a minute. I'm going to buy something... Yes, I have money".

Carlos decided to buy bag after bag of snacks, with some occasional bread mixed in the order. He said to the store clerk that he needed enough snacks to, in his words, 'fill the stomachs of an entire army'. To prevent any problems, the employee just nodded and complied to such strange request. It was an special occasion for him anyways, so it was okay to take so many expenses just this once. "And... That was the rest of Sera's money. It lasted more than I though. I wonder how is he right now. Anyway, if I want to survive in this country, I'll have to find a job or..." The young man said as he finished paying, ignoring the fact that he was thinking out loud ("Again...") and with his mother still on the phone listening to every single word he said. "Oh, shi- Wait! Mom! Mom! No! It's not what you thin-! Sera? He is a frie- No! He's not a client! I said that I'm not a sex worker, mom!". Noticing that he was indeed annoying the rest of the clients and working staff, the young man grabbed his bags and took his leave. "Huh, thanks for everything... And sorry about everything. Have a good day" He said as he exited the store before continued with his phone call. "Look mom, I'm a grown-up kid. This trip made me realize a lot of things that I couldn't even begin to image back there. I want to stay here just a little longer to see... What future can I decide for myself".

"I actually see my future a little better thanks to coming this place, mom" Carlos continued talking. "It's nothing about you, guys. You know I love you more than anything, but I need to stay here a little longer.  Please mom, let me do this". As he continued his way through the streets, the young man noticed something familiar about the scenery - He was now standing in a pretty crucial location for the previous war. The place where the last battle started. He was just in front of the one and only Card Capital shop. "Wow... I kinda remember that I visited this place long before the final battle..." The young man thought, putting down his cell phone. He wanted to actually approach the place, but he restrained himself from doing so as he noticed the front of the local wasn't completely alone. The sisters Fuki and Koga, previous enemies of the Resistance, were currently there, gazing upon the sky with an unmistakable look of loneliness in their faces. "... So in the end, she isn't with them. I see" The young man clenched his fist in frustration, and then decided to turn away from the shop. "Oh! Yeah! Yes, yes, I'm still here" He picked up the conversation with his mother. "Don't worry mom, it was nothing. I was just... Reminded of something unpleasant" He said as he took a different road, away from the store. He then grabbed a bag of snacks and left it near to them with a small note filled with encouraging words and even an invitation to celebrate on top of it, hoping they would find it and pick it up. "Fuki, Koga... I'm so sorry..." He muttered after leaving the small gift. "I hope we can meet again in the coming future"

Before getting that far, Carlos previously visited a lot of locations with a special meaning to him on his way to his destination - The Rijuku Park ("The place where everything started"), the amusement park ("The place where I met a precious friend... Sort of"), the tournament stadium ("... The place where my dreams got crushed in the first round. That was rough") ... All while trying to convince his mother to allow him to stay on Japan a little more. In the end, after a lot of trials and tribulations, he managed to convince her... But in return, he had to do some favors for her. The thought of it was enough to send shivers down his spine. But it didn't matter anymore, as he noticed we was close to his final destination - The Umano Slums. The special place where he laughed, cried, drank and had the biggest adventure of his life. The slums had a special place in his heart after all the things he went through. It was just... Special. "Huh, that's a pretty simple way of thinking about it" He thought while laughing a little. "So 'Simple Soul' is a fitting title for me after all". Following the loud noises made by the celebrating masses, the young man walked through familiar streets once again.

He was rewarded with the most spectacular of all views - The whole army, smiling and enjoying the end of a dark era. The young man felt the need to express in words such magnificent view. "This... This is nice" Carlos said, completely amazed by such peaceful sight. "This is really nice. I'm glad to be alive to see this". There were a lot of familiar and unfamiliar faces on the base. Faces that, of course, he wanted to hug and celebrate with. But his attention was drawn to a certain group. "G-Guys!!" Carlos waved at Jessie, Bashiro, Aoi and Okuri. Some of them were quite busy at the moment, but he waved at them anyways. The younger Hakaisha brother looked quite different ("Mmm. Since when was he a brunette?"), but he recognized he was still the same Jessie. "H-Hey! Wait for me!!" He rushed towards them, as he noticed they were running to the bar after Bashiro's invitation. "I have snacks! And bread! You can't have a party without that and me!!".

Okuri could hardly contain himself as his friend greeted him. The brothers hugging and petting him was all he could asked for. To be able to see Jessie again, new hair aside, was a joy he thought he'd been eternally robbed of. He laughed as they continued sharing affection. As he looked around he took note of others arriving. Haruka was around, he'd have to say hello. Then Carlos arrived. And while Jessie was still holding on to him he attempted to hug the man as they'd been denied the opportunity in the last battle against Leviathan.

"Carlos you're here! I knew I'd see you again soon!" he called out happily. It was all he could have wanted. Aoi was crying now which reminded him he hadn't even been bothered by the girl calling him Fluffy. It was something he hadn't much thought of. What was it like to have a name? Okuri was merely what humans had called his people so had taken the title. What was it like to honestly have a name given by someone who loved you? All the while the small spheres of light continued to rise from the Spirit's body. In this time to reflect he took notice of them finally and froze as he looked at himself then back to Jessie and his other friends.

"I think I'll be missing this party. A shame too, Bashiro paying would have been something to see." he said with a far-off tone. He had an idea though. Would his friends agree to it? He hardly knew but it was all he could do was ask. He slowly moved himself out of Jessie's embrace and lowered himself to look the boy in the eye. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

"Jessie I have a very selfish request to ask of you." he began as he held a paw to the boy's face. As it approached to touch the physical elements of his body dissipated and dust fell to the ground leaving what looked like a paw behind but it glowed and flickered like his spiritual form had in his brief return to fight Leviathan. Tears came to Okuri's eyes as the ethereal paw attempted to touch Jessie's face only to simply pass right through leaving only a feeling of warmth. This process of his body dissipating continued, beginning with his tails and other feet. His torso and head remained for now.

"It would seem this lifetime of mine is over. It wasn't very long compared to the others but with a new earth it seems my body wants to take a new form." he began. It couldn't be that bad though. He'd change appearance some perhaps but many of the others had. He'd be in good company. His torso now gave up its physical elements leaving only his neck and head not having taken spiritual form.

"I'm going to need your help. I've never had a reincarnation feel quite like this one. I have no idea what form I'll take when it completes in but a few moments." he continued. Several objects fell from about his neck as the material composing it vanished away. His sash, reality bangle and Great Nature deck formed a neat pile at his feet. "I've thought for a bit now that perhaps a new start might be good for me. I have so many memories and experiences. I want to face the future with a fresh start, and not have to be so tied down to the past as I've always been. I'd like you to keep that sash away from me after I take physical form again. It's the only reason I remember so much from incarnation to incarnation. Everything I am and have experienced is imprinted into it." he said explaining to the boy what Carlos had already become familiar with. Only the spirit's face remained physical at this point, the rest the wispy white flames in canine shape.

"So here's the really selfish part. Would it be alright if I lived out this next life of mine as nothing more than your dog?" he said as the tears continued falling with a large smile on his face. He paused a moment to attempt to let the boy and his other friends take in what was happening. "A carefree life with all of you is all I could ask for. Except maybe one thing..." he continued as his face now too gave up it's form. The entirety of the spirit's body was now simply that, a spirit. The eternal part of him that continued existing and taking new forms every century or so.

"I'd love to have a name for once. A real proper name." he said asking his final request. "I love all of you. That will never change no matter how much I do. I look forward to this next life with you. If you ever need me, the old me, simply give me back the sash, I'll understand." he said attempting one last time to embrace Jessie. As he moved the light of his body intensified engulfing the nearby group for a moment. As it faded hundreds of the tiny spheres of light scattered into the air. Dust from the earth swarmed around the very small remaining light and eventually everything settled into Jessie's hands.

What rested there was a small pale blue creature, that as best anyone could tell resembled [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. There was a single tail, with silvery offshoots from the hind legs. Long strands of fur coming off of the neck with red tips. There was what looked like a small mess of sky blue hair on top of its head to slightly contrast the light blue of the fur. The front two paws were white and seemed like socks on the small creatures legs. The renewed Spirit of the Earth shook and whimpered, seemingly scared and confused and seemed in every way to be nothing more than a puppy both physically and mentally. This was Okuri reborn. Hopeful of a simple life without his former memories and a name given to him by his friends. A fresh start to the Spirit as the Earth itself had been given a fresh start.

However sad the change it seemed only appropriate.

"I'm actually paying this time, I swear!" Bashiro shouted happily, and all those losers from Umano shouted joyously as they and Carlos came into the bar. Poor lad had excited sleazebags all over him for some of his snacks, while Aoi and Jessie just waved him off as he went to join their party. Confetti blasted from streamers and literally fueled cannons, confusing the portion of Japan that had no idea why their friends or families were so hyper. This exciting news even hit news channels, and one reporter only kept screaming over how it was all over. That one remembered what co-workers didn't. Jessie and Aoi among others continued their happy demeanors, now unbreakable with the strongest despair lost in history. The gumball crouched down, joining in the hugging and petting of the spirit who... suddenly began to fade away. They were both surprised by this, not understanding half of what he was talking about. Reincarnation? A new lifetime? This lifetime was over?! Jessie remembered he had an idea for a rousing game of twenty questions involving how Okuri even functioned. He was still as foreign as the Reapers, to be honest. ... So that's why Jessie called out to him and asked what he meant. It was a silly reason considering everything he was talking about, but the boy just wanted answers. He wanted Okuri to stay, and let him know. Let him know it all... Aoi sat close as the sash was removed, and it ended up in both the hands of the kids from its size.

"This isn't selfish... It's-" Jessie couldn't really find a response to Okuri's request, the duo simply watching the spirit fade away with his memories, desiring a new, fresh start just like the Earth itself. He wanted to live... as Jessie's dog. "It's not selfish at all! Of course you can!" The boy cried, tears screaming with a shaky smile. The younger Hakaisha and the True Hero watched the reincarnation take place, having his sash and Aoi grabbed his deck just in case. In the place of their beloved spirit was now an adorable little puppy-like entity, transforming so quickly in their eyes. They felt like the world took Okuri away quickly - as fast as possible so that life with all of its memories could now sleep. In exchange, they were given a confused pup who would live life anew. "... A name, eh?" Jessie grinned through tears, remembering one of Okuri's most desired gifts. Aoi took the lead, picking up the cute critter and holding him in her arms up to her backbreaking- ack. She remembered they were there and had weight, so now her back hurts again! With a couple "ow ow ow..." repeats emitted from her, she looked at Jessie, who had an idea. "How about Tamotsu? It means protector, like how he's looked out for me and my bro for so-"

"That sounds dumb!"

"What?!"

"I wanna call him fluffy!"

"No way in absolute Hell are we doing that!"

"Fuwatan!"

"No!"

"Fluff-a-luff!"

"Cease this!"

Aoi giggled and snickered as Jessie was obviously fuming. Though, the gumball stopped, turning to hear Fubuki with a renewed tone in her voice. ... She was returning Cyan's sweater to its rightful owner... but Aoi gave a light smile in response. "I think it looks better on you, so keep it and wear it sometimes. ... I think I'm gonna go buy a new sweater myself. ... I'm sorry for what I put you through." Aoi apologized, knowing how much Fubuki must have gone through because of her vanishing... twice. Even so, it was time to move to a future Chronojet Dragon allowed the reincarnated Seed to have with no threat of disappearing any more. To the distance, the Irish Champion, Aedan was rushing to the party. Aoi happily waved, holding Fluffy as she dubbed with one arm, as Jessie yelled, greeting him to the celebration.

"Welcome home", Haruka Nakahara, one of humanity's several commanders spoke, causing Yugure to perk her head up. Excitedly and hyperly did she turn to her beloved, seeing he was alive and refreshed. Yukino smiled, only gasping as she cried a little more, unsure of what to even say or do. So, with a running start, she practically tackled her soon-to-be husband, clutching onto him as tightly as she did Seifer, if not more so while also attacking him with her lips.

"I'm... home." Yukino whimpered, finally home from war.

New Earth Empty Re: New Earth

Post by NoelKusanagi Wed Dec 07, 2016 11:24 pm

"...Noel, if you can hear me... I'm... I'm sorry I wasn't better to you. I had to much on my mind and couldn't see those who needed me. I'm a terrible older brother, and I hope you'll be able to forgive me."

A familiar voice... Seifer?? Why was he apologizing? What's going on...? Did I... die??

There was nothing but darkness. The defeated Beacon of Light was found in a deep unconscious state, unaware of all the events that was happening. Unaware that the ultimate challenge was occurring for the fate of all existence. Noel was in a slumber as deep as death which Seifer's words somehow manage to reach to her. Unknown to the Kusanagi girl, the final battle against Leviathan was taking place which the surviving members of the Resistance endured endless loops of deaths and revivals. Endless loops of deaths and revivals, the surviving fighters fought desperately even though they knew they had no chance of winning. It was until then which they had all received the power to Stride, for that became the turning point which ended in the victory of the Resistance.

A bright light within the darkness of her unconscious state began to grow. There was... someone. There was someone in the other side! Someone so familiar! Someone who Noel searched for relentlessly. That person was right there but the bright light couldn't let her see who it was! That was when Noel began to regain consciousness, her eyes slowly regaining their vision. From darkness to blurry to restored vision and consciousness. Noel had been resting by a boulder as she woke up and she began to look around. There was... nothing. Only the remaining Resistance members and.... could it be?? Noel started breaking into tears. It was... it was Salome!

Mirai looked back as she had stepped back from the rest to stay guarding her past self. The Seed smiled with a very happy expression, "Hey sleeping beauty, glad you are with us. And I see you noticed our missing friend."

Salome was next to Noel, materialized and bowing in one knee just like a proud knight would do to their leader. Being caught in the moment, even the proud elf knight princess couldn't help but shed a tear of joy, "My master... it truly is an honor to be by your side. Forgive me for my tears, but I cannot hold back these tears of joy. It feels like a lifetime since I have last seen your proud smile."

Noel hugged Salome crying like a little girl. Her journey was over. All these painful days, all these solitary moments, are finally over. The one she was desperately trying to rescue is finally there. Salome couldn't hold back her own tears, silently letting them run down her face as she held her master and stroking her hair. Mirai couldn't help but smile at that photo moment. It reminded her of her own time. All her friends, how she wished she could of saved them. Maybe they could of had a big group hug as a reunion? Who knows, there was just one thing she knew was for certain after coming to the Akasha Stratum. Her time. Her time had run out. Had she dared fight Leviathan with the rest, she surely would of disappeared for good with no hopes of coming back. It would probably been her only loophole out of the endless deaths and revivals everyone was going through. Mirai is only around because she conserved her energy by only staying by Noel's side to keep her safe until she regained consciousness. But... that's no longer needed...

The Seed got up as she knew that it was time to go. "Well... I guess this is it... this was sure a crazy second chance at life..." She said to Noel, looking away from her.

"Huh? Mirai... don't tell me you are..."

"Yeah... but don't worry, you have Salome by your side again. You won't be needing to see good old you around for company!" She turned around with a big smile on her face. The Noel of the future had accepted her fate... no, she didn't it. Her fate was cruel and unfair but she decided to smile it out with tears running down her face as well. Her body began to glow faintly and fade. "I'm scared... I don't... I don't want to go! I don't want to!!"

Noel got up and ran to her, holding Mirai's dematerializing hands, "You won't be gone! I promise! You will be back! I'm you remember?! So you know that I'll do whatever it takes to bring you back! Soon you can be your own person again! I promise you that!" Mirai felt comfort in those words. Just for a little while. Maybe a third chance won't be so bad or that long to wait. The fading Seed nodded and smiled with hope as her remaining energy was gone. Mirai left this timeline, gone for hopefully a little while longer. Salome stayed silent as she took a knee as sign to honor Mirai, she is technically her master too after all.

The present time Noel could only look at her hands, determined to now bring Mirai back somehow. That was when she noticed something different. Her Reverse energy. It was gone! All of it, the cursed power was gone!

"It's really... gone...." Noel couldn't believe it. Salome walked up to her, "You don't need that power anymore. A gift from the Messiah, now you can truly use your own strength." The elf knight took Noel's deck and it began to glow a bright light. The Jewel Knights are now truly freed from their Reverse. All that is left is the true strength of the Royal Paladin elite.

While this happened, Chronojet Dragon had appeared to everyone. Feeling threatened to it's announcement of robbing human's freedom away, the Resistance fought the Gear Dragon to prove that they are worthy to shape their own paths. Humanity has come a long way to simply just be put on a leash and be robbed of the freedom they truly deserve. That was when Noel walked up to the rest finally and challenged Chronojet, this time with her own power.

Jewel Knights vs Gear Chronicle. Witnessing the previous fight, Noel caught glimpse of what they were capable of. Sending units back in time and to the bottom of the deck. A unique style of field control which can cause clans like Royal Paladin to get crippled. But with Salome by Noel's side, there is nothing that can stop her. She will demonstrate to the Gear Dragon what her own power can do and show the reason why she earned the title of Beacon of Light. Not only that, but the Cray Elementals had blessed her with the power to Stride which will enhance Noel's power even more. The Kusanagi girl rushed in on her grade two ride, assembling a full field quickly as possible. One her grade three ride, Noel performed the first Stride of the fight. Harmonics Messiah. Cray's Savior and the one, without Noel's knowledge, removed Noel's lingering Reverse energy. Their battle raged on as the Gear Dragon using the power of Stride, brought forth the Interdimensional Beast, Upheaval Pegasus to warp Noel's rear guard formation. It was an even fast paced fight. Noel countered with another Stride, Miracle Element Atmos. And just like it's name, Noel performed a miracle and drove check a double critical trigger from the Triple Drive. Giving one critical and power boost to both her rear guard Tracie and Ashlei.

Chronojet seemed happy, despite not having a mouth or anything that can display those emotions. Looking at Noel, it said, "Well done, Ashlei." Yes, Noel was in fact Ashlei. Chronojet was able to see and confirm it. The proud Grandmaster of the Jewel Knights was reincarnated into this human girl. However, Noel doesn't seem to remember anything as her time as a citizen of Cray so she thought it referred to the unit form that was attacking it. But regardless of what she remembers or not, her undying friendship with Salome and trust in the Jewel Knights is as genuine as when Ashlei lived in Cray. Unable to guard Pure Heart Ashlei's attack, Chronojet took the last two damage to end in Noel's victory. After everyone else fought Chronojet and after Noel's fight, the Gear Dragon was pleased about the results as it said, “I will not question your uncertain future any longer. I will not take your freedom from you. I will gladly watch over, and return Gear Chronicle to a future you yourselves will forge. I am sorry. Thank you.”

It placed its hand on the Akashic Record, almost like it activated it, sucking in the souls of the heroes that stood there. Eventually a bright light began to expand as the universe was reborn once more.

Noel suddenly found herself in bed back at home. It was a beautiful morning, the sun was shining down gently with the bird chirping happily. Everything that happened couldn't have been a dream, everything was recreated back to where it was supposed to be. Humanity truly won. Peace was once more brought back to the world. "We can... finally live our lives in peace..." Noel said as she walked up to her bedroom window, opening it as the gentle morning breeze waved her hair and touched her face.

Meanwhile,

A girl was sitting by the park's lake in the grass. The look in her face was that of disbelief and content. A mixture of emotions that eventually can just spell out happiness. Tears ran down her face as she admired the beautiful lake in front of her. "I'm.... I'm back.... This truly is a miracle..." Mirai Hashira was reborn to the world as a permanent resident, no longer in fear of disappearing.

After catching his breath (and nearly having a heart attack), Aedan grinned fully joining the group. "It's great to see you all again!" Turning to "Fluffy" however, he tilted his head before smiling, leaning down and offering his finger for the pup to hopefully get to know him. He never knew Okuri before now, however... Now was the greatest time to make new friends. "Hey there lil' fella'. Aren't you cute?" he cooed a bit, glancing up at the group, requesting the pup's name. He however, was dying of thirst. And not of the sexual kind. No, it had been a good long while since he'd had something hard to drink. Good ole Irish Ale. Speaking of drinking... "Where'd Bashiro go off to?"

At Haruka's entrance, the now ivory haired, male Yukino look alike tilted his head a bit. He didn't know them and yet, Yukino did... And thinking on it, he felt like he knew them. ...He couldn't place their faces, nor could he bring their names to mind. It was a frustrating experience, and yet he knew in time everything would come to light. For now, all that mattered was that Yukino was happy. Giving a wave at Haruka before he was plowed into by his soon to be wife, Seifer turned, pulling a pitch black phone out of his pocket and flipping it open. In the contacts list, there were only four: Mother, Father, Yukino and... Noel. Smiling lightly, he highlighted the latter and hit dial, raising the receiver to his ear and moving away to give Haruka and Yukino some space. Seemed like they needed it.

Neo walked into HQ and saw everyone having a good ol time. Everyone laughing, drinking and enjoying life to the fullest. Neo then looked down to the floor and was lost in thought.. then he popped up and noticed someone he hadn't seen before on a phone. Neo then walked up to the person.

"You seem new here. Never have seen you in HQ before. Hope your enjoying yourself. Alot of people deserve too.." Neo said to the stranger before being lost in thought again

The phone began dialing, as some stranger came from no where talking about HQ and enjoying and what not. The mention of HQ caused his head to hurt quite a lot, but Seifer didn't show it, giving a confused look in Neo's direction. "New here? HQ... What? Whatever..." he wasn't trying to be rude, just he didn't understand. He couldn't. Especially not with the splitting migraine he had now. Turning his attention back to the phone, he tried to take his mind off of it and... slowly but sure the pain began to subside as he waited for an answer.

Neo noticed the stranger continued to look back at his phone and looked to be distracted. He was probably calling someone important to him. Neo then walked toward the bar and ordered a drink. While the world was saved there was alot on his mind and alot of people he was hoping to see but they weren't here..

"Guess everyone is off doing there own thing now.. same should be said for me I suppose."

Neo finished his drink and headed out of HQ up the stairs leading outside and walked out. He didn't know where he was going.. yet.. but wherever it was it was where he needed to be.

"Where are we heading too?" Blitzkrieg asked

"Wherever the world takes us. Im in control of my future and my destiny now."

"But what about your friends. Don't you want to see them one last time? Im sure they would want to see you"

"Ive been through alot these past 2 years and I have met some of the best people around. Yukino, Seifer, Tsubasa, Darren, Haruto, Karin.. the list goes on and on but. Everyone is doing there own thing now. Now that the war is over we are free to do what we want, when we want it. My whole point of coming was to find out why my parents disappeared and thats exactly what I plan to do. But in my current state I dont have the power to find them. So I need to go find that power, as well as using the power I currently have to help those in the world who need our help Blitzkrieg. Im sure that everyone else wants to see me too but the fact of the matter is everyone is not wasting any time. We will all be friends in the end no matter what because of one thing: This war allowed us to forge bonds that could never be broken. All of the battles, all of the good/bad times, everything. We will never forget any of it. I surely wont. But its time for all of us to move on and forge our own future outselves. That is why im not saying goodbye.. the same reason why everyone else is doing the same" Neo said

"Well said" Blitzkrieg Said

Neo walked off with himself and his cards. To the unknown. His determination to find his parents was at an all time high, as well as helping those in need. This is the person Neo has grown up to be. He has finally matured into being an adult and it was time to act upon it. He would come back eventually and when that time comes.. he looked foward to seeing everyone again...

It was as though he had blinked in and out of existence for just a moment, but Satoshi had watched the Earth cease and rebirth in one sitting, as if it was an old man returning as a baby. What the people of Earth had accomplished in restoring their world...it was nothing short of impressive. Other species of life throughout the universe should take note that humans were nothing to trifle with.

But it wasn't without loss. He scratched his beard, eyes staring distantly as he recalled why it was he was able to witness such glory.

Just prior to following the crowd to the final fight against Harbinger/Tomozo, Seph spoke to his vassal. "Hey, look, before you go and do this...do anything at all, even, I need you to hear me out." The two were within the empty field of Satoshi's mindscape, interacting as they would periodically as he meditated. The farmboy nodded. "What do you have to say?"

Seph gazed to the side, as if there was something he was watching in the vast void. "It's...about your future. About how you're so caught up in trying to find yourself answers, find yourself purpose. How you came to the conclusion of 'I just don't know.'" The spirit swallowed. "Well...I know it."

Satoshi raised an inquisitive eyebrow. It wasn't like his guardian to be nervous. "What is it, then? If you've known, why have you been so reluctant to share? You know I'd love to have an answer."

Seph shook his head. "Even now, I'm not sure how you're going to take this, but..." He scratched his hair, then sighed, looking into his chosen's eyes. "You're meant to replace me as the Spirit of Neo Nectar."

At first, Satoshi wasn't sure what was so problematic about this. Succeeding Seph would be an honor, after all. But then, the questions came pouring into his mind. Would Seph simply be retiring, or was there more to this? Would this mean he'd be able to go to Cray? What sort of responsibilities would he have?

Just as he was about to ask, Seph spoke...with a slight shake in his voice:

"There's a prophecy sealed deep within our clan...kept protected in a location called the Sacred Tree. It states the Tree will have a champion all its own when the time is right. The one chosen...is to be trained and raised in leading Neo Nectar on Cray, as the Spirit themselves.

For the longest time, there has not been a Spirit. When Alfred called the planet to council years ago, we were in the process of determining the next. I assumed the role of leader on behalf of the clan so I could support the King of Knights and find the Spirit on my own. After all, maybe it was me, right?

The destined was a human this time, of all beings to exist. You, with the ability to speak to the clan so easily...you were chosen to be the next Spirit. The doctrine dictated I should train you and lend you my energy in any way that I can. So...as part of that, the previous Spirit sacrifices themselves to the soil to help bloom the new one. Of course, that process isn't for thousands and thousands of years, but..."

Tears dripped from Seph's eyes. "Satoshi...I've made my decision. I'm going to give you all of my energy in order to prepare you for your destiny. You deserve this future. This is what you've been looking for, for so long. A purpose. A meaning. You are a Guardian of Cray in doing this."

The farmboy was biting back his own tears now. His aide was just going to...cease to exist in an effort for him to reach his future? It was like losing a family member...no, something closer than that. He wanted to object, but in hearing it was destiny, Satoshi had no choice but to nod. "I...I understand. It pains, more than anything I've felt prior...even Yukino's death is barely comparable, but...if it must be done, it must be done."

Seph smiled, wiping the dripping water from his face. "I hope you're ready. There's a lot to this, and you're going to notice it right away." He then closed his eyes, and a green aura began to ebb and flow around the spirit. He made a few gestures with his hands, likely a sacred language, and with the finishing motion of a flower blooming, the aura burst, flinging itself into Satoshi.

---

His new body felt older, and yet ageless. That was what Seph had been hinting at first being obvious. Satoshi did not look 21 any longer; he much rather looked to be 40. But there was raw perfection in this new body. It was though he had boundless energy, as if he hadn't aged past teenagerdom. Perhaps this would last the thousands of years the spirit had mentioned.

A single tear went from his left eye as the older man thought of his guardian, sacrificed for his future. This, too, would happen to him someday, but still...it stung. Nevertheless, he held his hand to his hip, pushing back the hood that covered his head. Long hair, akin to what Biblical texts of Earth had called "Jebus," flowed forth to hang alongside his beard. Bushy brows and stern features also adorned his face, but he no longer had a need for glasses.

He nodded in the direction of the rising sun. The new Spirit of Neo Nectar in training had some work to do.

Meanwhile, Lua's experience with continuous death and rebirth had occurred in her own apartment, tormenting her over and over again as Leviathan worked its great powers. Even when Earth was reborn, she lay shaken, awaiting her next death and rebirth cycle. She needed protection, guidance, someone to just tell her things were okay.

Unbeknownst to her, a strange pistol had appeared among her things...

Darren was happy to see so many of his friends around. Banshiro was buying drinks and was actually alive, Yukino had tears of joy, and Seifer seemed a lot happier than normal to name a few. He looked around while walking. Everyone was happy and celebrating with good reason. They had done what was once believed impossible. The battles that started long before he had anything to do with them were now over.

Darren looked down for a moment as he wondered what to do next. He had spent a long time fighting, training, and improving. What was he suppose to do with that now? He hadn't ever had a chance to think about it, but now was as good a time as any. He had a lot of time now. Darren decided to go to a bench and sit down. He was still happy, taking everything in. True peace, the dream, was realized.

The young boy stood to the side of things staring at the sky and watching the people around him going about their pleasant lives now that things have concluded. He did not know how to face his friends after what happened but given what he went through he decided to just simply let things run their course. He regretted deeply that he could not help out and he knew that the people around him would probably not forgive or understand what he had to go through...the aspects of life that made him weak and held him back.

"I'll do what I can moving forward." he said, as he clutched his deck and moved on, heading towards where his friends are.
