Reaper Invasion - Traitor Revealed

Fubuki fell to her knees. There was no chance against these monsters. Tears rolled down her face. She had no hope. These beings destroyed Cyan's timeline, how could she hope to stand up to them? She hadn't even been able to call upon the power of Stride. . . Fubuki simply sat there, staring at the ground, unmoving. Hope was gone. Hell, hope wasn't even there to begin with.

One by one, everyone was dominated my the hideous creature. Megumin herself was at the limit even before fighting so all she can do is tend the people who lost though there seemed to be no way to remove the delete on their cards. If only she had more power, if only her units were able to materialize then this chaos could've been less fatal. Sheltering the injured was starting to be a troublesome job as less and less people were on the frontline fighting. This time the enemies were way too strong compared to the Resistance's force, this very well seems like the end of Megumin.

Humanity gave up. Seifer stood, but they were accepting the hopelessness of this situation. Harbinger is an invincible being and Sovereign is far too powerful. They watched the world - Gotem City more specifically - crumble before them. Many, many of them began to run away, and their previously "fearless" and heroic leader who left behind despair didn't blame them. The Chosen Sword was without words, feeling pain akin to no other. Years spent on chasing down this monster with no heart that destroyed her timeline and threatened everyone's lives by simply existing... She couldn't bring them to justice. She couldn't kill them. Yukino was powerless to change anything yet again. Harbinger and Sovereign fought Seifer and knew the last piece of hope anyone could have was about to come to an end. The Twin Towers versus Vortex Dragonewt, a snide comment about sending the boy to see his girlfriend in the afterlife. A lie, as those deleted have no afterlives. The entire world watched as the God Dragon - Transcendence Dragon, Nouvelle Vague was erased.

They erased a God.

"YOU LOSE, SHITSTAIN." Harbinger roared in Yukino's direction, noting the Resistance has failed. With the total erasure of a God and even extra, hitting Nazel, the two Reapers soared into the sky. The same massive sphere Sovereign had created before was generated by both of them with insane speed. It grew massive, like a black sun over the ruins of Gotem City. Yukino gave in, just gazing toward her death. Aoi grabbed Fubuki, shaking her violently to get her to run away with her. Bashiro tried to hold his ground, but he was only staying to ensure everyone else was getting out.

"So we're all destined for erasure", Solis caved, his fears realized. There was no miracle. There was never going to be one.

"Start running!" Chronos shouted, getting Yukino's attention. "I'll hold them off, but not for long! Get out of here so you can live for another day!!"

This voice from the spirit who didn't believe in them... It woke some of them up. The Reapers launched the supermassive sphere and Chronos summoned an enormous, thin clock-shaped barrier to hold it in place. Yunos grabbed Seifer, Bashiro found Cero and helped him up, escaping with him. Everyone ran.

Chronos let the barrier go when time ran out and everyone successfully escaped. Or at least, everyone in sight. He teleported, and left the ruins to the end.

Gotem City was completely eradicated, and the ultimate Reapers escaped.
