Descent and Advent

Wandering around an empty field right outside the City, the Figure pondered to itself outloud as it looked at the darkening skies "He's gone but it looks like he's keeping his end of the deal, eh?" He just circled around, clearly waiting for something.

Meanwhile, on Cray a hole formed in the pitch black clouds. From it He descended, a large golem made of pure despair, given form and held together only by a few pieces of armor. The ultimate doomsday weapon slowly touched down onto the ground, striking negative emotions into anyone who dare come close. From within it could be heard multiple screams of agony, getting only louder as it marched forth towards the United Sanctuary. Whatever it came in contact with was either annihilated out of existence or absorbed, enlarging the Titan even more.

Cero arrived at the destination as quickly as possible.  This was it...  The final battle.  And their opponent was a weapon of the apocalypse.  A smile was upon Cero's face.  Once again, the fate of the world could rest in his hands.  But what would be the cost this time?  For now, Cero would take a back seat.  He stayed to the side, secretly hoping someone else would be able to take the weapon down...  If he didn't have to step in, he wouldn't, but if needed, he would.  As the last hope of Earth and Cray...  He'd stand.

Looking out over the field, Cero saw a lone figure against the horizon. The person that held the apocalypse within their hands. The person that could end both worlds as they knew them. Cero didn't speak. He simply watched the events unfold.

Now was the time.

Cray will fall into despair unless a hero arrives.

That is exactly what Queen Yukino was, a hero.

Soaring through the clouds at an insane velocity, she tracked down the Figure who wielded the Glendios of this timeline. There was something deeply concerning and off about this one, however. The truth is, the Seeds all experienced the doomsday firsthand. They all came out as the pinnacle of their worlds. Yet... there were two energies. One was Glendios... and another was also the same cyber golem. It wasn't possible for Chaos Breaker to create more than one per time... meaning for the first time, one made it out.

One sole Glendios that stood at the top who could lock away everything into cold, dark space from another timeline.

And this was simply the absolute best situation for Her Majesty to win over the hearts of the idiotic masses here. To further her kingdom by being the divine chosen who destroyed the ultimate apocalypse beyond all other times and spaces. Truly, it could have only been her. After all, she was the Chosen Sword.

"Hoooo ho-!"

Letting out a noblewoman's laugh resulted in it getting cut off, the angel queen receiving a fist of godly speeds and power to the face. "Bfffphr-" Queen Yukino spoke gibberish in response as she was sent out of the sky, landing in grass fields, and getting dragging further through the ground by the sheer force of the attack. It was sheer luck she didn't collide with a rock or a barn of some sort out here in the open.

"Who... dares...?!"

"Your dad", Father Espoir spoke, approaching his alternate timeline daughter from seemingly out of nowhere. There was a mountain of questions for him. One, how the hell did he get in the sky to hit her as far up as she was? Two- never mind. This man was so much illogical brute force it was better to never question him in any world. "You're not going up there."

"Heh, you're not... my father. You're... the father of a failure."

The man was silent.

"Fool... Nobody in this timeline can stop Glendios. His Limit Break is one that locks away hopes and dreams. And there's two of them in this timeline. I'm entirely certain... they've merged. When the power of apocalyptic despair fuses with itself, tell me, what happens?"

"Infinitely omega locking over and over."

"Yes, an infinite loop. No one can overcome that but me!"

"Maybe. I'm still not letting you up there."

Queen Yukino summoned Majesty Lord Blaster's sword, jumping up onto her feet in a battle ready stance. She was cocky, believing she could take on Father Espoir. He stood stoically, not giving in to her design of being the blind tyrant she thinks she isn't. This was his gift to those Vanguards who would fight an impossible battle - to ensure it was their battle.

Satoshi headed to the coordinates he had been sent. There, he saw it. The being that was responsible, at least to a degree, for a lot of what was going on. And staring him down was...Cero? That was a face he hadn't seen in a while.

Seeing as though he had positioned himself as the one who was up as their first soldier against the enemy, he took to the side to watch.

...Or, he would be, but out of the corner of his eye, he observed Father Espoir confronting the seed of his daughter, Queen Yukino. He was holding her off from fighting this titan in front of them. Good on him. It was their battle, not someone who refused to accept that the timeline deserved a chance to try.

"Glendios... came back..."

Cyan stared off into the stormy sky, unconsciously wandering toward the battlefield on Earth. As a Seed trying to save her own timeline, the duty of this Aqua Force savior was to drain this world of its life, restoring it to her own parallel dimension. This would revive her Earth, her Cray, and her people. If Glendios was going to wind up being the end of everyone, perhaps it was best to end everyone's misery?

...

No... her guilty conscious just wouldn't let her do it.

This isn't her fight, but she still began rushing toward the source - the plain field where the Figure stood. She isn't supposed to be helping this timeline, she's supposed to be killing it. If Glendios locked everyone here, nothing really stopped her from draining life from the locks except getting locked herself.

Despite that fact, Cyan kept running.

To assist in saving this world she's so jealous of.

A rather weakened Seifer made his way here from the park, through the portal Sera left behind. He was surprised to find himself here instead of Cray. Did the energy from Glendios modify the portal to take them other places or something? Seriously though, why do the antagonists leave convenient methods of entering the final battle areas? That's besides the point though, since Seifer was here to try and finish it, even in his state. His limp had gone away, but the male was still holding his chest as he walked, slightly hunched over and forward. There were others here... The other Yukino, a girl he didn't recognize, someone he could only assume was Yukino's father... And Satoshi. Panting from the strain of his previous fight... Seifer gripped the deck in hand. Even injured, Nebula Lord Dragon would respond. ...And the irony that Seifer was using Link Joker to fight Link Joker, thanks to Sera's influence at HQ shouldn't be lost on anyone. There also seemed to be a figure just... Wandering around, though Seifer didn't think he recognized them. Was that the enemy? Moving to where the figure could see him, the brunette raised his deck. An issue of challenge.

People have been gathering around him. How did they know he's here? No idea. Why are they gathering here? No idea either. But he paid no mind to it. All that was left was to wait, and they didn't show any signs of stopping him or anything really so why bother. As he circled around the empty field, his gaze moved into the darkened clouds observing them.

But when the first perseon approached him, he stopped and looked at him. He knew who he was and at first simply ignored him until he pulled out his deck, obviously challenging the Figure to a cardfight. As a response to that, the Figure laughed.

"Oh I see.. so you came here to defeat me in a game of cards to stop the world from being destroyed by the ultimate doom and mark yourself in history books as a hero?" He paused, walking closer to Seifer. A gigantic fight table erupted from the ground between the two.

"See? Atleast he's trying to do something other than standing around "heroes"!" the Figure added looking over to the other people doing nothing but just standing there.

Meanwhile on Cray, Glendios marched forth with his ever increasing power and size, absorbing anything he touched into his burning flames of pure despair. The colossus made his way towards the main castle of the Royal Paladins, where most of the force was located, there was no rhyme or reason for this, Glendios didn't think, he only destroyed anything in his way.

Whatever soldier tried to stop the Doomsday Weapon in his tracks got torn apart by the feeling of extreme anguish and sorrow and gave up before they tried anything, only to be absorbed into this monstrosity.

Seifer didn't hear Noel from the park and started to walk away. So she instantly knew something was wrong because he clearly didn't seem in any position to be moving. He seemed beaten up which worried her a lot. So the natural thing Noel did was to follow him to make sure he is alright and to find out what is going on, especially knowing what happened to him.

"Be careful my Vanguard, this place isn't safe. It seems the final stage of this war is in this field. Stay alert." Salome's astral projection manifested itself to warn Noel. She seemed tense since she knew that Noel was in danger and at a point of no return.

"I thought so... this area feels extremely off, like... like if the presence of death is here... Seifer, I hope you don't do anything crazy..." Noel was worried about her brother and now had to be alert for her own safety. Whatever she may find here will determine the fate of the world, both for Earth and Cray. Noel gripped her deck and prepared for whatever she will face soon enough.

The fight has started, and from the very beginning the Figure was at a clear disadvantage, not inflicting even one point of damage to Seifer, yet he didn't seem moved by it. His opponent was Link Joker, something he didn't really expect and something that also made him smile.

Blow after blow, Seifer guarded everything the Figure threw at him and nailed atleast one hit every turn. Then the Grade 3 turn came, and the card form of Chaos Breaker's greatest creation appeared on the table, lacking in physical form next to the fighters. But even then, immense despair could be felt from the card. And what was followed by it, the first Death Star-vader, Quintessence Dragon who with his appereance alone put two of Seifer's units into the eternal lock - Omega Lock. Not even the Stride appeared alongside the Figure, who decided to do something unexpected. Rather than attack the Vanguard, he decided to strike Rearguard with his only unit - the Vanguard as if refusing to deal damage to Seifer who by this time has rode a Break Ride. The next turn was the same, Quintessence Dragon made a second appereance and locked almost all of Seifer's field.

Then the turn after, the Figure who refused to talk beyond your regular commentary laughed under his nose, discarding a third Grade 3 to release the powerful Stride Fusion. The second Death Star-vader, "Omega Loop" Glendios. A Stride of Glendios so powerful that all grass and flowers around the fighters withered upon the howl of despair that radiated from the card. Using yet another kind of lock, the Greater Omega Lock - an ability to lock units that don't exist on the table but from the deck instead, all of Seifer's field became locked and the coffin was sealed. The figure passed his turn to Seifer whispering to himself, "This is your last turn, last bit of spotlight you'll get." and effortlessly dropped a Perfect Guard at Seifer's only chance to win.

Without declaring Stand and Draw, the Figure looked over at Seifer, "Ultimate Break. This world, and your world will be ended, everything you ever cared for will be lost in the never ending limbo and all you will be able to do is regret the day you decided to be a hero."


Glendios roared once more, a ring appeared around the card itself and released a huge shockwave of pure negative emotion. All of Seifer's cards in the deck, hand, field, soul damage and drop zone lifted into the air and started to blank out and then burn to a crisp, except a single copy of Nebula Lord.
"These Star-vaders you held on and tried to save the world with have ceased to exist and it's only because you decided to use them in a cardgame rather than try your own strenght. This single Nebula Lord will be always with you to remind you of this failure as you drift through the Limbo." The Figure's voice echoed in Seifer's mind, followed by images of multiple world being destroyed by Glendios, images that only Seifer could see and yet they seemed more real than reality itself, a never ending loop of pure nightmare and the feeling of drifting in the middle of pitch black darkness. The Figure packed up his cards and walked away from the table facing the others.

"Anyone else wise enough to try and defeat me using this game of skill and save the world?" He asked.

Glendios' physical form, the one on Cray continued to ravage through United Sanctuary, roaring stronger than ever. At some point even a visage of Quintessence Dragon appeared, burning the land to a crisp, marching forward to the main castle.

The events that led to this moment for Darren would likely reshape his future. He stood a distance away, watching the battle unfold. Normally he would be in the middle of the action, asking for the first crack at the enemy, but not this time...

After the events of his battle with Noel in Gotem City, he offered his hand to Noel. She accepted it. She was suppose to die, but Darren never finished her completely. He wanted her to live, to spread the hope she was given to others. Perhaps that was his mistake, his heart. Upon touching her hand, he felt a dark force enter his body. It wasn't allowed to do anything. That was thanks to the selfless act of a true hero.

You felt that?

Yes, it was the Seed. Its entering Darren.

Should've known the kid wouldn't kill his friend, even in a form like that.

It can be stopped from influencing his energy, his body... but only if we act now. I have to seal it away.

Why you?! I should...

He still needs you, Kaizard.

........

We don't have time to argue. I'm going. As long as my body is within Darren, the Seed will not be allowed out in any way, not even to move to another.

Fine... I'll keep up the fight in the meantime and make sure that body of yours stays in one piece.

Take care of our Vanguard, my friend...

That was the last Kaizard or Darren heard of the Super Dimensional Robo, Daiyusha. He sealed himself within Darren's heart in order to contain and seal the Seed. It worked. Darren was unchanged, but Daiyusha wasn't even in the deck, only the 4 parts of him that made his Ultimate Dimensional Robo form, Goyusha, Dailander, Daimariner, and Daidragon. Daiyusha not only scarified himself to keep Darren himself, but he used a weaker, more vulnerable form so that Darren could still fight with the deck he had become accustomed to. Darren could never forget something like that, and he feared that getting to close to something like Glendios would cause the Seed to activate. As thing were now, his time of fighting in this war was over.

"Good luck you guys... If all else fails, I'll be the last line of defense..."

The fight was going his way the entire time. He felt like, even in his weakened state... Maybe he'd be able to stop this here. Prevent any more casualties. But then the third stride appeared. With his whole field locked, the sense of despair over took him and he just... Gave up. There was no more victory for him. Losing in the manner he did, and the images afterwards. Losing a whole deck... That took every bit of strength he had left. His progress, his growth. It no longer felt like it mattered. Falling to the ground, with the last Nebula Lord card landing at his side, the brunette passed out once again. This time, it didn't even seem like he was breathing.

"Sei....fer..." Noel just arrived to where there was people and witnessed something she didn't want to see. Her brother falling to the ground in a lifeless-like state. Even though he actually went into a coma-like state, Noel thought he died and that was where something inside her snapped. "AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Noel screamed in anger, pain, sadness. Every single sad emotion possible was coursing through her after seeing what could be the last time her brother being alive. The remnant Reverse energy Noel still had inside her came out and enveloped her with its dark, red aura. The Reverse markings on her face reappeared, and as Noel looked down, she started to laugh. "Hehehe... I don't know what you are... but hurting my brother was the biggest mistake you will ever do... I'll have fun tearing you to shreds!" Noel spoke as if she went back to her previous Reversed state but this time, she was actually in complete control over it. She took out her deck and challenged the abomination that took her brother away. There was one thing she knew, someone isn't walking out after this fight.

Cyan... took her time finally getting close. She was out of breath and had to take a couple breaks. Sat down and enjoyed the sights while eating some gumballs in-between. For someone trying to help save the world, she was pretty lax. Or maybe just out of shape. Maybe both. After spending a few minutes being conscious of the size of her thighs... the girl looked up, seeing someone else and fall over practically dead. Then, soon after, another one bit the dust.

"H-"

Maybe this was a bad idea?

"Hey!"

No, it's not a bad idea. You can do it.

"Stop that! I'm not gonna let you beat people up anymore!"

Queen Yukino and Father Espoir had been fighting with a godly sword and inhumane physical strength through fists the entire time. Cyan's voice, however, caught them off guard. Her Majesty was confused. The Seeds were here to mess with this timeline for themselves. Cyan isn't trying to be the hero like her glorious self, so what was she doing-

Father Espoir punched the imperial in the face again.

Fubuki had been running as fast as she could. Panting, she looked around the field. Two people were unconscious... Two people were fighting a battle with inhuman abilities. Best stay away from that. There was Cero standing around while the world was ending like an idiot. And... JELLY!? Jelly was here... And she was fighting an incredibly evil power.... Had she changed her mind? She was helping the world she said she would drain of life... Fubuki wanted nothing more than to run up and talk to Jelly, but... Doing that in the middle of a cardfight would be very. Very. Bad. Probably. Especially against a figure that seemed... Seemed like the origin of Reverse. The very thing she had been searching to stop. Fubuki took a seat next to Cero, waiting for Jelly's fight to end.

There they went, another one challenged him after Seifer's example. They sounded so angry and menancing to the point where the Figure actually got serious. But the moment they pulled out their deck.. all seriousness was lost and the distorted human let out a short laugh before placing his deck on the table.

The fight progressed much differently than the one against Seifer, both fighters were dealt damage and it went more or less equally. Once again, both Quintessence and Omega Loop made an appereance, however the Figure failed in Omega Locking all of Noel's field with both of them.

"I don't really remember you so you were probably the doing of the others but.. to use Reverse to combat the concept that kickstarted it in the first place? Now that's just interesting."

Both fighters were running out of cards in their deck, and Noel was dropping guards turn after turn. Yet no shield is perfect, and it eventually broke. With a lucky double trigger check Glendios' attacks tore through and inflicted the sixth and seventh damage, snatching the victory.

Nothing really happened to Noel nor her cards. The Figure just stood there, tapping his foot and looking at his arm as if he had a watch there.

"Come on Chaos Breaker.. how long do I have to wait.." he whispered to himself then looked back at the girl.

"Guess you didn't manage to save the world either, my final form is yet to revealed."

And yet another perseon challenged the Figure, this time an Aqua Force user, this fight went smoothly and nothing noteworthy happened except near the end.. The Figure.. lost, sixth damage was inflicted and no heal triggers appeared. The very instant the sixth card touched the table the Figure backed away, grasping at it's chest and screamin in pain, kneeling down onto the ground and then getting up after a while.

"Haha.. you're strong.. realy strong.. but this isn't even my final form!" he yelled, as the distortion around his body started to get more wild.

On Cray, Glendios and Quintessence's visage continued their unstoppable rampage throughout the United Sanctuary, making it all the way to the main castle of Royal Paladin, obliterating the walls without the slightest problem, absorbing men at the walls and moving forward once again, leaving only death and destruction in their wake. At this point, Glendios' size was nearly twice his normal one.

Cyan was in no position to be saving this world. It was in the way of her world being restored to life. Even so... she proved that she was just pure hearted in intentions. Aqua Force fought Link Joker, a matchup of insane disadvantage for Jelly. However, that didn't daunt them. That didn't make them tremble in fear. Admiral Maelstrom traversed the seas... in order to save the Sanctuary from Omega Glendios on Cray. A justice that had to kill simply for others to live... that wasn't all there was.

Maybe, unlike the other Seeds, she just wouldn't be able to do anything for her goals. Because she didn't have the heart for it.

Maelstrom tactfully avoided the Lock of Omega Glendios at Critical points to ensure his entire squad wasn't sealed. This was the fruit of someone who had faced the doomsday weapon before. Even though she could not achieve Wave Four, much less Wave Three barely, Cyan pressed on with Aqua Force. A hellish battle against the Death Star-vaders where it was only a matter of time before Aqua Force couldn't do anything.

The paladins were rushing back to the Sanctuary, after finally pushing back every other Star-vader force, Glendios was the only remaining obstacle that could be considered commander level. Quintessence was another thing entirely. Dragruler and Raging Form, unaffected by the despair aura the cyber golem emitted attempted to strike at them, and Monarch Alfred's Sacred Sparkle fired forth at the machine directly. Unfortunately, the Abyss Dragons were almost practically ignored, not getting Glendios' attention. The other Star-vader that is Infinite Zero's future struck, then the other cyber abomination backhanded them. Sacred Sparkle managed to inflict... some damage. Yet, after a few moments of absorbing more men, the damage was null and void.

"Dark horsed Justice!" Cyan cried part of a chant, summoning Maelstrom Reverse. The irony of using a Reverse against the garbled mess of Reverse energy was going to have to pull through...

... and it did.

Maelstrom Reverse dealt the Figure his sixth damage.

Admiral Maelstrom fired out a divine torrent that caused true damage to the Star-vaders... Quintessence was knocked down by the rivaling power of another Transcendence dragon. However, Glendios sustained... by growing. The cyber horror continued to grow massive in size, being twice as large as it was in their parallel timeline.

Cyan saw this, and panicked.

"Y-You mean... I still couldn't..."

First against the Reapers, now against Glendios in this timeline. Could she really ultimately do nothing, despite all her efforts...? The girl dropped to her knees, in awe of the destruction, along with the Figure's growing final form.

Jelly had won... She beat the source of Reverse! With Reverse! What a he---- Wait, it wasn't gone? It was still there. Jelly hadn't finished it off. Fubuki stood up and prepared to fight the monster herself, but a hand stopped her. Looking to see the source, it was Cero.

"Stay back. You haven't reached your potential yet," he said as he stepped forward. Honestly, Cero had just gotten excited. After witnessing the power of Glendios, he was ready to face it head on. He didn't want to risk Fubuki getting the glory herself. "Take care of your friend, and I'll deal with the weapon." Fubuki nodded, running to Jelly's side, while Cero stepped towards the Figure. "I'm your next opponent, monster! Come at me with everything you have! Show me your final form!"

When Fubuki reached Jelly, she kneeled down next to her. Gently, Fubuki made an awkward attempt at a hug.

... This girl... the one who used Tetra Drive... She approached the fallen Seed... to help.

... Cyan was crying, and hugged her back.

"I'm sorry!"

That wasn't just to Fubuki.

That was to everyone that existed within two timelines, and had ever existed.

Xat quickly ran to were the others were, and saw glendios, Xat then walked over to fubaki and cyan hiding her fear of seeing him and stopped next to them.

"What happen here?" She whispered to herself before keeling down to Cyan and Fubaki's height. "Where is Yukino? I need to tell her something." She asked them hoping that Yukino was near by.

Tsubasa had just arrived at the location specified by Yukino, the place where Shiki and the new threat took form, the place where it all had to end if humanity were to have a better future..otherwise they were all doomed.

"...."

Entering he saw the result of many battles in front of him, he still carried the back on his back for later reasons but just by looking at the situation at hand the bag almost slipped from him..as he was in shock at the result of many attempted fights against the figure...some his friends were on the ground beaten and utterly defeated...while the figure stood in the middle of it all having a great time.

"..Let's end this..." he thought, as he started walking up to the figure the eyes of many fixated on the next challenger.

"I'm sure you're even slightly surprised to see me being okay after what you saw happen to me...but regardless I was the one extremely surprised when I was told who you really are..." he said, standing face to face with the figure.

The fight with Cero went smoothly, his constant Critical gaining forced the Figure to constantly drop cards in his hand in attempts to stop getting finished by a surprise critical trigger. The situation didn't look good for him, Cero constantly retired his units and created huge power numbers with units like the True Eradicator or Gauntlet Dragon. However, everything went accordin to the Figure's plan. He was simply waiting until he reached the stack of triggers formed by Bohirum's skill. And it came, at the most fortunate moment when Cero dropped a simple two to guard shield, giving victory to the Star-vaders.



He sighted, as yet another person came to try and stop him. "Come on, give me a break.." the human whispered to himselfand then looked over to the challenger - a man he has already beaten once or even twice.

"No, not really. I've seen someone else resist the Reverse, it's more annoying than surprising but at this point it doesn't even matter."

Without further ado, the Figure simply placed his deck on the table and waited for his opponent to do so too, after all they all come here with only one goal in mind.

Xat looked at Tsubasa. "Tsubasa becareful." She called out to him as she got up and quickly went over to the fight to watch, hoping tsubasa will win.

Looking at the figure's response Tsubasa, took a deep breath and started talking to him, his bag still in hand for hopefully later. Aside from that he was wished luck from Xat, who stood near the fight area to watch the result, which he appreciated greatly, giving her a smile then fixing his sights on Shiki once again.

"..Regardless of what happens today i'm just glad that we'll be able to have that cardfight I asked of you a long while back...Shiki...the situation maybe serious but I will try to enjoy this game with you." he said, smiling. "-pulse, grunt-..tch..-breath-"

"My Vanguard, you're using up already 70% of your power, I don't know how you're able to mask this much energy usage but the Reverse Energy is slowly trying to break free of your lock on it." said Ahmes.

"...If I have to use more...then I will...I need these few moments..just to set things straight.." he thought, his thoughts reach Ahmes.

"We're with you, our Vanguard." said the Liberators in unison.

It definitely was a surprise for sure to see Tsubasa talk like this considering the situation but he was getting tired of watching people suffer over a game that was supposed to bring fun and enjoyment to it's players. Something Neu and many others showed him, he would of course try to beat Shiki but not without helping him or helping him enjoy his time.

"...You still owe me something Shiki, but you'll understand later." he said, setting his deck on the fight table.

The Figure's distortion dropped, revealing that it was Shiki all along. (!!!)
"Oh man, you got me. I was wondering how long it'd take you guys to figure this out." he closed his eyes, and smiled widely. It was a sincere smile and yet, one could feel enormous kill intent radiating from him, a clear opposite of what his face was showing.

"I'm sure you will, I've been having fun all day." he added, and proceeded with the fight.

The fight started out normally, both fighters rode all of the grades even if Tsubasa had to G-Assist, he still managed to have advantage over Shiki pretty much all fight. Even he showed the ability to Stride. Which, at this point, didn't really surprise Shiki as pretty mcuh all of his opponents possesed this ability.

Near the end of the fight Shiki sighted, with all the dialogue Tsubasa has been spewing out and even pulling out manga from his bag. "You're just trying to use up every possible cliche to make me like you, don't you? Sadly that's not happening anytime soon."

The sixth damage was dealt to Shiki, with no heal triggers coming up. He backed away, grasping onto his chest and panting heavily "Hah.. you got me.. All the fighting you've done here, and all the time you've spent was all useless. You don't defeat evil with card games, but with actual skill and sacrifice. There is nothing to be sacrificed here. I was just having fun while buying time seeing how obvious it was you people would jump to the conclusion that Cardfight is the way to go, and now it's too late." He packed up his cards and started walking away, "Anytime soon."

On Cray, Glendios has already devastated a majority of the Royal Paladin castle, even with Maelstrom trying to stop him it was useless. Glendios' shadow covered the remains of the castle, infact, he has grown in size to the point where you could see him from any point in the United Sanctuary and beyond. People died, constructions crumbled as the last lines of defense were being annihilated without effort. No matter what people did, it was simply useless in the face of this Cyber Golem. And at this point, stopping him was nigh impossible.
