Personality: A weary shell of a man. Unlike those who proceeded him and look to take their own path after him, his vigor is meek. Haruka is a kindhearted individual with a moral high ground that he doesn't allow to fall apart, due to it being one of his few senses of reality he has left to hold onto. All of the things he promised himself in his future years ago came to a dark fruition. His found love came at the cost of betrayals or losses, even by his own hands sometimes, thus causing him to develop and facilitate many trust issues with even those he cares about the most. His ability to maintain conversation is incredibly endurable, yet shallow.

He has several untimely quirks, specifically about time. He no longer wears his watch anymore, nor does he keep track of the days on a calendar. He only asks when a date and time is necessary and appropriates himself for it, but cannot fathom to keep track of it. He's adapted to this by taking up a task where the time is organized for him, and he simply lives in the moment, as that is what he's best accustomed himself to do.

Even with his experience and refined will over the years, he has not forgiven all of his demons, and those of others that still pressure him. He drinks to forget, but doesn't let others know that he's forgotten anything at all. On the surface Haruka is a jubilant and overall desirable figure to spend time with. However, in the long and short of it, digging any deeper will only result in finding a sepulcher of the man that once resided in this body. His mental and emotional ties are instilled in few individuals, those being his lovers, close friends and caretakers. Other than those, he is merely little more than an empty case file floating through sub-space.

He dabbles and spends in time in his career to occupy his mind, retaining his admirable and agile nature. He is esteemed among his peers, but this popularity does not reach very far. His primary habits include making (and consuming) coffee, developing musical talents in his spare time, specifically singing, and bettering himself for the sake of his companions. He doesn't wish to burden them with his own troubles, so he feels it is necessary to seek out a way on his own time to recover the lost spirit he had so many years ago.
